This is one of the best guest houses I have ever visited! The rooms were really stylish with big and comfy beds, the kitchen had every sort of tool you need to prepare a tasty dinner, the terrace had a wonderful view. The house is situated in a really peaceful region in the hills and it is certainly one of those places where you can take a glass of wine, watch the sunset and take some time for yourself. I would definitely visit it again! Obrigado!

A wonderfully comfortable and spacious house, it had everything we needed and the owner was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very responsive to any questions we asked him on what's app. The weather was absolutely terrible outside with torrential rain for our entire stay but the huge gorgeous log burning fire downstairs was a joy to sit around with a glass of wine! The showers were hot and the bead linen was lovely and soft We would 100% recommend this house for a family or friend group stay. We'd love to come back some day (but in Summer so we can enjoy the stunning garden and outside cooking area!)

I stayed at Casa do Alto for three nights in late October this year in 2023. I am working in Tourism and know about the hospitality business. I was seeking some calmness and beautiful nature. I was not disappointed at all. The accommodation provides you with everything you need. It’s clean and very thoughtful furnished. The surrounding is in a beautiful set up. I did some hiking, just starting in front of the house. Nearby are excellent trails for walks and rivers to swim or just for enjoying calmness and reading a book. I would recommend it everyone, who wants to get out of his routine and is openminded for a unique experience in a unique place, far away from everything but close enough to stay in touch with your normal life.
