Lurdes met us and hand us the key and explained the house condition. It is in a quiet village with central location to the surrounding area including visit to Obidos if required. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend others to stay here if you travel in this area.

With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Modern space with lots of utilities. The area was fairly quiet and private. The villa we stayed in had lots of sunlight (all the other villas look very similar) and we were able to watch the sunset which was beautiful. Love that the properties are gated and there’s space for the cars.

The property is a quick walk up to the castle and a fascinating stroll through the boulder laden streets. Eloiza is an amazing host. She met us at the town square and delivered our luggage to the property, a two minute ride and a five minute walk. It was raining when we arrived and she brought us delicious vegetable soup, home made cookies and delicious full bodied wine from the Monsanto region. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Eloiza gave us excellent suggestions regarding other places to explore in the area.
