La struttura non dispone di un accesso diretto sul lago,ma in pochi minuti a piedi è possibile raggiungere una spiaggetta isolata,bellissima. Tzununà è un paesino piccolo,senza ristorati,ma con un Tuk Tuk o in barca è possibile raggiungere senza problemi i posti vicini.

Situated in Tzununá, 35 km from Volcano Atitlan, Bambu Guest House features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location was ideal as I was seeking something more relaxing. You do need to walk or take a tuk tuk to get up to the property from the boat dock. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable, the facilities clean and welcoming, and the staff was always helpful. The food was delicious and well-priced. I felt very comfortable during my stay there.

My fiancée asked me to marry him there and there genuinely would not have been a more special surrounding. Astrid was also amazing as were all the staff we interacted with. What a fabulous stay! We absolutely loved our experience here and after doing a lot of research believe it may be the nicest property on the entire lake. Facilities were beautiful with stunning views from the rooms and infinity pool. Staff were world-class, always smiling, energetic, friendly, and ready to say yes. They truly went above and beyond. Bartender Cristian is the best! Our upgraded room was spectacular and newly remodeled with a beautiful tub overlooking the lake. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks at the pool bar were all excellent. The hotel also arranged for a great couples massage, laundry service, and a private boat tour of the lake. Thanks so much and we will be back!!

The views are incredible any time of day. There is a hammock right outside my door and the lake a few steps down. Great for kayaking and swimming, bathing or even doing laundry like to locals. It’s quite the experience. Gladys and her husband are wonderful!
