Take in a different kind of sight with a stroll, cycle, rollerblade – or even carriage ride – around Central Park! Spanning 843 acres, the park slices through the landscape from North 110th to 59th Street and crossways from 8th to 5th Avenue. A beloved recreational space, you’ll see everything from locals playing baseball or practising yoga to outdoor performances, family picnics and couples saying “I do!”.

This isn't your average, American park !
This isn't your average, American park ! You'll want to stay there at least a couple hours (or more) to really enjoy it. Bring food and plan a picnic there. Also, enjoy the various modes of transportation (scooters, bikes, horse carriages) to enjoy the park road and explore this immense space.

It’s beautiful.
It’s beautiful. Our 2nd time there, 1st being in early Fall & things more green, flowers still in bloom, sunny warm day. This time a bit drizzly & grey, fountains closed down but it was still a peaceful enjoyable walk. Bring your own snacks & drinks

We had a very expensive but lovely horse and carriage ride well worth a visit. I would probably do the walking tour and go later in the year so that it was green. We went in March and it was void of all leaves.

We went just after the pandemic so the park was overgown and filled with homeless people. I am not one to say that people trying to exist is an eyesore. It was just sad that they had to live there. Still a beautiful park.

The north part of the park from the 90th street and up has a more natural and wild landscape which is really lovely, especially in the spring with all the daffodils and crocuses flowering - it’s gorgeous! A little more south, around the 70’th streets you can get to the reservoir and walk around. Gorgeous place to spend a morning walk or an afternoon, there are paths for bicycles and roller

It is such a breath of fresh air - quite literally!
It is such a breath of fresh air - quite literally! As a Londoner with easy access to Hyde Park and many others, I did not thing I would be as impressed as I was walking through the park, but I could not have been more mistaken! It was a lovely break from the city and such a peaceful experience walking all the way from the Lower West side to the Upper East side and took a lot less time to cover so much ground that I thought! I would highly recommend renting a bike if you're feeling like getting a little bit more exercise and covering more ground. Cannot wait to go back!

Very friendly arrival after a long journey, small sized, quiet relaxing hotel to come back to after a busy day in New York. We were celebrating an anniversary and they made sure we had a corner room which was huge with a large bathroom and large deep bath which was amazing after a day of walking. Felt safe in the area, 10 minute walk to Central Park and walkable to other tourist sites and got to see a lot of the city by doing so. Highly recommend.
The location on 5th Av and 59th Street (Midtown, south east corner of Central Park) is just the best.
The staff were exceptional and the room (1615) beautifully designed and quiet. We stayed 6 nights.
The bed was really comfortable with quality linen and pillows.
We also liked the Cipriani restaurant next door, which can be accessed through a door in the hotel lobby. We had breakfasts there and a lunch. Hotel guests get a 20% discount. It's a popular venue, so lunch/dinner reservations are recommended.
The location is PERFECT! Right around the corner from Times Square, the subway is accessible from multiple places and the hotel is a short walk away from Central Park. We had an issue with the initial room but this was solved very quickly and we was moved to a new room (with a much better view!)
An excellent hotel, with really friendly staff. Great location right next to Time Square - never heard anything from outside in our room though. Great to have a view from our room of Time Square - not all rooms would be so lucky though. Great breakfast, filled up for the day before going out. Location is so easy to get to from the airport by the subway, and great location for getting around. So much to see which is nearby, including all of the shows. Easy to use the subway to get around, or an early morning walk in Central Park.
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is perfect for visiting many great areas, such as the Hudson River, Times Square, Madison Square/Flat Iron, Broadway, etc. I love running, and we’re only 5 km away from Central Park!
The breakfast is great, although it can be very crowded if you go after 8 am.
Stayed in Premier One Bedroom Suite City view with two double beds which was excellent value. Large living room with separate dining area, TVs in living room and bedroom, small but well equipped bathroom with bath and shower. Coffee machine with pods provided and kettle brought up on request. Lots of windows and natural light. Fridge small but functional. Excellent maid service each day. Reception staff responsive and helpful. Hotel was close to Central Park and Times Square but in a slightly quieter area.
Boutique hotel with a nice location close to beautiful Central Park, but far from lower Manhattan. Nice and comfy rooms, small but functional bathroom and newly renovated hall ways. Kind and helpful staff, and yummy breakfast. All you need!
- Brilliant location (next to Grand Central & Subway lines 4,5,6), buses;
- Central Park, Bryant Park, Chrysler building are very close;
- The area feels extremely safe, for real;
- A young traveler-friendly hotel were you will meet lots of folks from the US / outside;
- Friendly stuff;
- I am not sure if there is anything cheaper of sorts next to Grand Central;
- The bed was quite good, better than at home lol;
Cosy, old fashion style hotel. Very spacious apartment, clean and comfortable.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location is great, around 10 min walk to Central Park and shopping areas.
