Set only 450 metres from Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence, My Friends provides accommodation with free WiFi. Florence's Duomo Cathedral is 650 metres away. The receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. She gave me a map of interesting sights and good places to eat at and was ready to answer any of my questions. I booked a 4 bed dorm and was placed into a 3 bed one, which I see as an upgrade. The hostel is very small, which is nice, as it is not too noisy. You can use the shared kitchen any time. There are croissants, cookies, cereal, milk, eggs, pasta and red sauce. You can eat whatever and whenever you like. Location is great, 10 minute walk to the main cathedral. Air conditioning worked no problem, same goes for WiFi. You are provided with a free towel, soap and shampoo. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom.

The room was so clean and even the bathrooms were very clean considering there was only one in the entire floor. The hostel had a very homely vibe and overall very good management. The old man at the counter was very kind and even helped me with my laundry. 10/10 would recommend. Also it is right outside the tower of Pisa so you can wake up to the tower. Like a bonus

Hostel Archi Rossi terletak di pusat bersejarah Florence, hanya 250 meter dari Stesen Kereta Api Santa Maria Novella. I loved the aesthetic of the hostel. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the receptionists were all very accommodating! The hostel is centrally located between the main train station and the main tourist attractions that Florence has to offer. There are fast food and fine dining restaurants, convenience stores, and souvenir shops nearby.

Once a 15th-century Franciscan monastery, Chiostro Delle Monache is just outside Volterra's Etruscan walls, next to the Presidio Ospedaliero Santa Maria Maddalena hospital. A picturesque, spacious hostel converted from a Franciscan Monastery. Breakfast is plentiful and varied and good evening meals available at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is very quiet a 20-30 min walk from Volterra, mostly on a down hill gradient - buses are available and advisable when returning uphill to Volterra.
