I traveled alone and really just needed to sleep before the morning departure by boat to Bamfield, so for the first time in my life, I stayed in a dormitory. For 43 dollars, it more than served its purpose. But I chose this hostel mainly because it is also a cultural facility that was converted from a church. Its location near the harbor and its place in the local Art District make this place also unique. But its biggest charm is added by the owners who decided that the house they live in will also be a place of meeting and culture. I attended one concert and it was a really pleasant experience. Not only because of the music but also from meeting the owners, really kind and inspirative people. Otherwise, the hostel is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Parking right in front of the building. I liked Port Alberni, so I will return here with my family. We will definitely be happy to stay at Chars Landing.

Squamish Adventure Inn hostel se nachází jen kousek od aktivit, dobrodružství a vzrušení města Squamish. Very well organised facility. I stayed in a hotel-style double room with ensuite, and it was excellent. I also used the communal kitchen and dining area, and chatted with the many friendly hostel guests and staff. I was skiing in Whistler most days, and able to walk 10 minutes on the path beside the inlet up to the Adventure Centre and back to catch the SkyLynx shuttle bus that operates from Vancouver to Squamish to Whistler. This worked out much better value than staying in Whistler. The same path is a 10 minute walk into downtown Squamish in the other direction, to supermarkets, restaurants and other stores. All in all, this was an excellent stay.

C&N Backpackers se může pochlubit výhledem na Ucluelet Inlet. Hostel má prostornou zahradu s ohništěm, grilem, spoustou venkovního posezení a stezkou vedoucí až k nábřeží. Great atmosphere, excellent staff. Really comfy space, LOVED the outdoor area.

Located 13.2 km from downtown, UBC's Okanagan Campus offers free WiFi. spotlessly clean, great location, great amenities a very friendly staff ( who I thought were students studying at the university)

THE ORCHARD (HOSTEL WITH PRIVATE BUNKS) se nachází v destinaci Radium Hot Springs a nabízí tenisový kurt a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. After traveling around BC/Alberta for a month this is for sure the best hostel I've stayed at. Reminds of similar concepts in Asia/Europe. This had a very cool layout though which also accommodated couples in their own capsule if they so wish. Very tidy, nice little kitchen with everything we needed to cook breakfast/lunch and a super friendly owner to top it all off! No doubt of where we would stay if we pass through this cool little town again.

Bethlehem Centre se nachází v destinaci Nanaimo a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Nanaimo Museum je 5,7 km daleko. It was quiet and clean, a very nice break from the usual chaos of staying away from home.
