The bed was extremely comfortable and the area was quiet. The communication from the owners was excellent. Also, I felt safe and secure staying there alone.

Free beer on arrival and also free breakfast which was pretty decent! We had a private room. The rooms need modernising, rip out all the old janky sinks and cupboards and it would give more room. Felt a little prison cell (not that I have been in prison!) I mean it did the job and it was a backpacker hostel after all but a little bit of modernising could vastly improve it. Try the burrito place opposite, it is excellent

Free breakfast, dinner and a drink with specials on every night and cheap drinks at the bar. Quite safe with lots of key access only, bathrooms were always clean and showers were great. Location was great, everything was in walking distance. Luggage storage was for free and secure, locks were provided if you didn't have one. Had our own fridge in the room. We got a 10% discount at one of the bike rental places nearby.

I stay in a lot of hostels and they take advantage of the average cost of regular hotel rooms in th3 city and raise their prices accordingly. it shouldn't be priced anywhere near the price of a regular hotel or motel room. missing entire concept of a dorm style hostel with bunk beds.
