The hostel is well looked after, and clearly cleaned regularly. I was pleasantly surprised by the showers - well above hostels I've stayed in previously! The staff were all lovely, and were also exceptionally good at making pancakes in the morning. The location is great for exploring the city.

This is a simple dorm room that students of the University of Toronto would use while the year is in session. It was clean and quiet... and it is located in a safe area ...the campus seems safe. The Univ of Toronto and this residence hall are just off of Spadina. The intersection with College Street and Spadina is very close for tramway purposes. I found relatively reasonable parking on Queen Street East for $8.00 between 6 pm and 7 am... so I had to get up fairly early to move my car from that location... but it is quite easy to use the College Street tram and then the subway for 2 stops. It is very easy to walk around and get to many neighborhoods from the lodging. If you need to go further afield, public transportaiton is handy.
