When you walk into the building, it is scary because it’s very run down and poorly maintained, but when you get to the second floor it is a spotless boutique hotel, with beautiful decor mixing modern and classic styles. Breakfast was delicious! VERY clean, comfortable, and the hostess is fabulous.

Excellent breakfast and plenty of it. No. 1 bus from the train station if you don't want to walk or take a taxi.

Set in the historical centre of Agrigento, a short walk from Via Atenea shopping street, Il Meraviglioso Mondo di Amélie features accommodation with modern furnishings and free WiFi. Fabulous stay - would definitely return. The hosts were wonderful and friendly and offered suggestions about food, attractions and beaches. Parking was excellent, breakfast was even better!! The B&B is in the centre of Agrigento yet still peaceful and quiet. The bed was unbelievably comfy and lots of nice touches in the room - water and snacks.
