Very helpful woman greeted us and insisted on lugging a heavy case up the stairs. I don't agree with some of the comments on here, yes it maybe a little dated and in need of some painting etc but it was obviously clean. We had our own bathroom and kitchen area with fridge and microwave which was ideal. Also a nice comfy spot in the garden to smoke. Great Location for seeing Vancouver. Close to a lot of stuff.

The 2 shower rooms with sinks were new and clean. I had a very nice shower. It was great being able to meet so many friendly and drunk people late at night. They were very apologetic when I had to go out and ask them to not talk so loud outside of my room. There was plenty of signage posted almost everywhere which made up for the lack of any real host on site. Much of the signage said that "quiet time" was after 10 AM. It seems there have been problems before.

Arif is a great host, helpful and attentive. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The freezer's ice maker was also a hit. The location is wonderful, 4 short blocks to Lonsdale Avenue with its diverse restaurants and a short bus or drive from Lonsdale Quay and the Sea Bus.
