Directly on the famous Grand Canal, Hotel Antiche Figure is in Venice, just across the canal from Venice Station. We had an extremely pleasant stay at the hotel, the staff was very welcoming and provided us with all information that we needed. Would definitely come again.

Set in a small noble residence, this 4-star boutique hotel offers a combination of an historic setting, rich classical design with modern comforts, and a central location in Venice. Canal Grande ticked off all the right boxes. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful, the hotel was beautifully furnished, breakfast was a feast and the location just perfect. We were celebrating a special occasion, and to our surprise the hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite. This hotel was just perfect.

With panoramic views over the Grand Canal, Hotel Palazzo Giovanelli dates back to the 16th century. Saint Mark's Square is just 2 stops away on the water bus. Many thanks to Davide for being such an excellent host and welcoming face at arrival. Excellent breakfast, location is perfect on the water with the vaporetto Santa Stae right next door. Rialto, San Marco all at close waking distance.

Restored to its original splendour, The Gritti Palace is set in a former noble residence on Venice's Grand Canal, with views of Santa Maria delle Salute Church. This Hotel was the Perfect location for watching the Regatta. One of a few remaining Grand Hotels with Old World elegance, beauty, and gracious civility. We were trated very graciously by all the staff.

Sina Palazzo Sant'Angelo is a luxurious boutique hotel with private pier, located between Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. Rooms are decorated in a timeless 18th-century Venetian style. Everything - splendid view (canal view suite), super friendly staff always willing to help, beautiful interior design, lovely spacious bathroom, the hotel can be reached directly by boat from the airport (both private taxi or regular city transport), the room was very clean and completely sound proof; walking distance from main attractions including concerts and artistic workshops. Do ask the staff for directions and you will get where you need to easily (important for Venice where on-line maps and navigation will get you lost).

Facing Venice’s Grand Canal, and with a views of Rialto Bridge, Al Ponte Antico offers accommodation in a 14th-century palace. The hotel provides a daily breakfast and offers free Wi-Fi throughout. I loved coming home at night and sit on the terasse with a full view of the Rialto bridge and all the gondolas and boats on the River Grande. In the morning, to have breakfast on that same terasse, the most abundant lovely breakfast. Finally, both the owners and the people who worked there were all extraordinary. I will definitely wish to return, I was so sad to leave...
