First, the staff of Hotel Mora are available 24/7, they are super friendly and helpful. The location is ideal -- a short walk to the train station, across the street from the botanical garden, short walk to Retiro Park, El Prado, and a million great restaurants. Rooms are smallish but very well appointed and comfortable. We had a balcony with a view of the botanical garden. Also, the hotel cafe is really excellent.

Mercure Madrid Centro enjoys an excellent position opposite the Prado Museum in the centre of Madrid. The stylish, air-conditioned rooms have free WiFi and satellite TV. It’s the best location one can get for this price . Breakfast was equally good . Staff is extremely nice and friendly helpful . Complementary drinks( juice , coke ,water etc no hotel I think during my stay offered . Extremely happy

Hotel Mexico sijaitsee Madridissa vain 250 metrin päässä Prado- ja Reina Sofia -museoista. Proximity to Train station and the Pravda museum. Also only a short walk to many eateries. We had the room on the 6th floor which was spacious with good views to the old town over the roof tops and it was accessible by lift.
