The breakfasts were great, and probably the highlight of my kids’ stay. The option to make their own waffles was a huge draw for them, and the flavour options were top notch.

No property the address is with no name and with for sale displayed at the entrance….. we parked at the location…. Called to make sure of the address, they said room not ready yet…. 16h45!!!!!???? And they ask for my credit card details on phone….. we believe they are scammers…. Very strange…. As a hotel professional, I know how hotels answers the phone… the person did not mention her name or hotel name….. she was more concentrated on getting my bank card details…..
So disappointed after a long trip with the kids and a baby…. We had to find an other hotel and paid extra to get a room but at least it was a proper hotel….. we are shocked to see such property listed in booking.

Was sad that the restaurant was under renovations and breakfast was not available but the coffee was good. Bus stop right in front of the hotel is a big bonus.

I was able to get an early check in which really helped out as I needed a place to work from for the day. The person that took my call the night before asking about early check in followed up the next day when they started which was great customer service!

Good breakfast. Good selection of breakfast items.
the apartment was very comfortable. It was worth the money for us to stay here. My only suggestion to the renters of the property is that the bed needs to be upgraded. It was comfortable enough but for big people, like me, comfort is everything when I sleep. Other than that, It was great!!

The area didn't seem very safe.
The area didn't seem very safe. Everything seemed far but on further exploration, it isn't -- convenience-wise I would recommend Surrey if you're going to be in and around the area much. Safety-wise, I wouldn't say it's totally unsafe, I'd only recommend one to be careful initially, assess for your own self, and decide if staying out after sundown is a good idea or not.

Surrey is my hometown. I am a Canadian citizen. It just so happened I needed a place to stay at the time and I got robbed by these people who rented me the place for 45 days. 8925 151 street Surrey BC. They took the money the day I moved in and promised to refund the damage deposit as soon as I vacated the place ($1400 CDN ). But that never happened to this day(12th of July 2023)

White Rock is a must not busy suburban Surrey.
Eat at Crescent beach or "Morrisons" in Ocean Park to escape the main beach crowds.
The soccer fields are amazing there.
Lovely art and gift shop in White Rock centre.

The thing is , that owner or manager, she doesn’t have manners. As we booked the hotel via booking .com but at she said there was no booking and the rate she told us was way to high . And she is not accepting intrac or cards only cash . And when we asked for refund she said no refunds and cut the phone

It was affordable for where I waned to go.
It was affordable for where I waned to go. Easy to get to Vancouver and other destination most times. Wonderful accommodation that I would like to book in the future instead of nearer to Vancouver where it is very expensive. If you didn't have a car it might not be so good, There was parking on the street and I never had a problem with that, Closer parking in the driveway for electric cars to charge. Must admit I didn't spend a lot of time in Surrey but I was able to find all the places I wanted. Chong Qing restaurant and Krispy Kreme doughnuts for example. Lots of other malls for shopping also. I was mostly visiting friends in the area.
We had a beautiful peaceful stay there.
we noticed they do not charge through direct booking on the site but I needed to E transfer to email they sent us automatically right after receiving our initial confirmation.
we were told it’s because of customers privacy they do not have the option of paying through website but to do E transfer ( customer to transfer fee to hotel email)
we did it and they received us.
Honestly staff were nice, location is safe , very elegant and Central.
we will return back in future .
My little Ketto, age 4 and 12, and my friend and wife, and he wanted to spend a good time in city do you want it to be sure I told Mutale what it cost for us was about $1200 per day so we decided to book the cheaper one and take it to the Salus Hotel. The price was very good about 800 and the book too sweet wants to eat for my friend about 300 and for my family 500 so in that case we had our own privacy suites was clean but a nice location. The host was very nice
Check-in was a snap and the two gentlemen at the front desk were very friendly and offered information and suggestions for restaurants in the area. The complimentary bottle of chilled sparking wine and treats was an unexpected pleasure.
While food in the breakfast room was not unlike that in many hotels the breakfast room attendant (Taran) did a remarkable job - looking after everyone's needs and chatting cheerfully with the guests.
We didn’t get to stay here because THE HOST CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION AS WE WERE DRIVING INTO THE CITY AND WE’RE ABOUT 20 MINUTES AWAY, our group were from Calgary and Castlegar BC respectively. So we ended up having to stop and try to find another place to stay. And being a Canada Day weekend , it wasn’t easy to find a place.
This is one of the worst hotels.I've ever stayed in in my twenty years of bravelyn had stoves in the room holes in the wall's and also Had Bed bugs. Staff was not cooperative at all price that was on the website.Did not depict what we actually pay.I would never, ever advise.Anyone to stay at this property
Great place, very well equipped, several towels, iron, heater, cutlery, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, electric oven, fridge, tv with netflix, shower with shampoo and body wash, had the feeling of a 4 star hotel.
The best Home Hotel we booked
We wanted one day of having great relax with comfietsble stays and my fiance joined me from the other city
It was a romantic day for both of us
Comfietsble bed and polite lovely manager
Our joy and happiness was completed to stay at the royal hotel of the Empress
We preferred to pay cash on arrival as our credit was not go through
Be sure to call them a day or sooner ahead to arrange
My parents and me booked this hotel for our guests
It was our wedding ceremony with my fiancé after three years being a way from each other
We booked all VIP room and all went so well
For a newer hotel it was not maintained well or cleaned well. We found a used hair tie, lipstick and hair in the bed. Pool/hot tub should have been cleaner
