Accommodations were comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We booked last minute but I would book again in a heartbeat. The owners were very nice and greeted us promptly upon our arrival to answer any questions and explain the layout. The property is adjacent to a business for kayak rentals, which we did not use this time but have in the past, and that would be very convenient for travelers visiting who also want a kayak adventure. We were a couple, but the accommodations would be sufficient for a small family or group.

Casa Aire Libre is a recently renovated holiday home in Puerto Jiménez, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. mi è piaciuto tutto di casa aire libre, luogo meraviglioso in mezzo alla natura, la proprietà dispone di tutti i confort, questo è stato il soggiorno più bello di tutta la nostra vacanza in Costa Rica , la proprietà è molto grande ed accogliente, il terreno circostante è pieno di fiori e vegetazione, c è anche una vasca naturale dove potersi immergere per rinfrescarsi. Le stanze pulitissime e le lenzuola fresche, il bagno immerso nella natura è davvero comodo e suggestivo. La cucina ha tutto il necessario per cucinare in autonomia, abbiamo fatto delle buonissime colazioni handmade di frullati e gallo pinto. C era anche una bellissima lavatrice che ci è stata molto utile. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti Zulay, una signora molto gentile che ci ha aiutati ad organizzare la nostra cena di Natale e anche le escursioni, sarei rimasta tutta la vacanza a Casa Aire Libre.

Very nicely embedded wooden house with all comforts near Puerto Jimenez. Owner (surfing teacher) super nice took us for a short hike in the jungle at Malapolo at no cost. He gave lots of info of what was possible.

Situata a Dos Brazos, la Casa Bolita offre un giardino. 29 km da Golfito. La casa vacanze presenta una terrazza, 2 camere da letto, un soggiorno e una cucina ben attrezzata. What a slice of heaven. Secluded yet safe in the jungle, this perfectly appointed house has all the amenities- comfortable beds, mosquito nets, great lounging areas and then.. the best of all.. a gorgeous pool where we saw monkeys playing overhead, not to mention the macaws and toucans. From the river side lookout deck we could watch the gold miners on their morning trek up the river searching for treasure. The grounds are beautiful with pineapple, avocado, lime and banana trees. Val and Ron are amazing hosts who made sure the Yeti cooler had blocks of ice to keep our food cold. Coming from the city it was incredible to realize how easy it is to live off the grid. The solar panels provided enough power to charge our phones and have light in the evening. We had amazing adventures walking to the nearby waterfall, walking up the river and exploring the Bolita trails. There are a couple of very cute and harmless bats in the guest bedroom who left each evening before we went to bed, returning home in the morning. The windows have no screens or glass so you really feel you are living in the jungle but there was a surprising lack of biting insects. This really is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the jungle- the best high end “glamping” I have ever experienced.
