Great location just outside the old city allowed us to explore Puglia easily. The facilities were excellent, the weather was hot so having an outdoor spa bath was fabulous. The host provided breakfast ingredients that included daily delivery of fresh pastries. The apartment was very comfortable and access to secure parking nearby was great.

Luigina and Alfredo were just amazing with their hospitality and all the recommendations. It felt like staying at home. Very comfortable rooms and peaceful. Lovely stay at l'aira ecchia - ospitalità rurale. Roberta & Antonio (the owners) are incredibly friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. More than willing to help with recommendations. The rooms are recently built, spacious, and clean with updated bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a nice outside terrace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The breakfast is more food than you could ever want, of course, all delicious. The B&B is conveniently located just outside of Lecce. An easy drive into the town, less than 10 minutes and then you are within walking distance to old town (cars prohibited). Also easy to get to other places in Salento (eg Gallipoli, Ortanto). When we left, we felt like we were saying goodbye to family. HIGHLY recommend staying here on your visit to Lecce.
