It was a pleasure spending our holidays at the Chi Ghinn - a unique experience that we will not forget. It's an enchanting place with a breathtaking view on the lake. Although it’s a bit difficult to reach it by car due to the narrow streets in the Bée district, the fantastic view is worth all the effort. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the wonderful Italian flair is reflected throughout the house. The breakfast is just perfect with freshly made coffee brought to the table, bread, homemade jam, yoghurt and freshly squeezed juice... The staff, especially Sainey, was extremely friendly, always helpful and we enjoyed the nice conversations. The Chi Ghinn gets a hundred percent recommendation from us.

We stayed in Intra, a smaller district / town part of Verbania. The town was great; it had shops, supermarkets, cultural activities, a small beach, great nightlife atmosphere with restaurants and bars. It felt safe to walk around at night. We did not like the busy main traffic road crossing right through the town. That was definitely the spoiler for us.
Beware of expensive restaurants serving poor quality food 'for the tourists'. Better buy food yourself and cook at your apartment if possible! Great quality Italian products at a third of the price. Great ferry trips departing often. Beware of the islands excursion, took forever to get to Isola Bella and definitely a bit of a tourist trap, a very beautiful one though!. Great hiking and biking excursions, just do a little research and there's loads of amazing places to see. Huge market on Saturday. Leather goods for all tastes. Be careful again, they will try and charge you heaven and earth for cheese, salamis, fruit etc. Otherwise, Fabulous!

Verbania is a beautiful city on Lago Maggiore.
Verbania is a beautiful city on Lago Maggiore. There is a free market every Saturday, with good bargains and excellent fresh fruit and vegetables. The cathedral on San Vittore is a must see. And the Botanical Gardens: Villa Taranto is a great place to sit and enjoy the views of the Lake and Nature's Treasures.

Relaxing setting with lots of options. Visiting the beautiful islands on Lago Maggiore and Villa Taranto botanical gardens were highlights for us. The busy weekly market on Saturday brought out the tourists and visitors. Lots of options for restaurants in the town.

Eating out as well as shopping is excellent.
Corona safety meassures are observed in all places we visited.
I've been a regular visitor to the area for 40 years and I can say things have not deteriorated there like in many other places, on the contrary if anything the overall impression of the place has improved and is more attractive today - definitely no tourist trap.
The hotel is located in the tennis club, close to the main street but in a quite corner. Then it takes you only 5 minutes on foot to go to the old town next door. The free parking was convenient, the breakfast was nice and the staff was so helpful. What is even better, the restaurant in the tennis club offers tasty local food at really good price. We all enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would high recommend it!
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful!
The bungalows are clean and you feel the owners do their best to maintain the property.
We didn’t try the food, served in the canteen but the coffee is very good.
The pool is well maintained, though not heated. So during our stay is April, we couldn’t enjoy it.
Very quiet, peaceful place. Perfect starting point to visit lago Maggiore highlights.
Perfect location! Right across from the ferry and we used the ferry on two separate days. Great water views. Plenty of restaurants night next door on both sides with outdoor dining and of course views. We had a room with a balcony and we loved it!! Between Rome, Milan, and Verbania, this was our favorite area. We stayed 3 nights.
The host was super nice. Really really he is the nicest host I've ever met using booking.com and any other platform. The location is really good if you want to visit Verbania as a tourist, but there are also supermarket and other facilities in the area if you travel for work and plan to stay in this house for a while.
Location is very good, close to the ferry stop and restaurants. The lake view from our room was also quite nice. The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and easily approachable. Hotel decoration is a bit outdated but the place was well maintained overall.
The view from our room overlooking Lago Maggiore was stunning. The bed mattress was very comfortable and the choice of food at breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is well presented with good quality products and furniture.
Beautifully located overlooking the lake and a short distance from the ferry dock, the hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms. An additional highlight is the courteous and helpful staff present at the front desk.
the location is great right by the ferry. we
booked a lake facing view and it was on the first floor. would recommend booking second or third floor if pos so you can see over the trees at the front of the hotel
Location is beautiful! We used it as stop point from Switzerland to south of Italy. The restaurant overlooks the lake and is a great place to enjoy some Italian food / wine while taking in the views
Nice Hotel with atmosphere in the old town of Verbania, few minutes away from Lago Maggiore and city center. Beside of this very quiet. Very friendly hotel staff. Our dog was also welcome.
Beautiful room opening onto lakefront. Extremely helpful hotel desk rep who gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, helped with car parking and ferry lake tours. Good breakfast too.
