I loved it here, I was traveling with my dog and just outside of the hotel there is a park and so much green space to let her run. The parking was private, inside the hotel area and for free so this was very helpful. The stuff is nice, dinner was very good and at fair money. I’ll come back for sure during my trips in Italy.

Tomaso was an excellent host, who gave great advice and booked us a lovely restaurant for supper. Sylvia was equally pleasant as was the lady at breakfast.
However, the beds were very uncomfortable. The plastic bolts gave my friend red marks on her back and she tried to amend this by putting the one blanket over the mattress as a buffer. This ended up giving her a rash.
I was very chilly, because I had no blanket.
While the staff was SO pleasant and helpful, and the room nice and the bathroom pleasant and water pressure good, the beds were very unpleasant.

Wonderful place! It was so very pretty and historic. The city allows you to visit the museum of Alighieri Dante, one of the most important poet in Italy's culture. Also you can visit the Dante Alighieri's tomb. The city have a lot of bar to drink, seat and listen music, restaurants to eat the excellent and traditional italian food (for example piadina).

Ravenna is a beautiful place to visit.
Ravenna is a beautiful place to visit. It's easy to get around the town center and there are a lot of places to eat--across all price ranges.
So many beautiful mosaics. It's worth taking a tour for these. We did a guided tour with Silvia Giogoli at guidaravenna.com and it was worth the cost. She is so knowledgable about the history of the city and the mosaics in particular. Really gives you a better appreciation of the art.
If they block the guide's name and website, it was the guided walking tour offered via the booking site called Mosaic Tiles Guided Tour.

One full day in Ravenna was perfect for visiting the amazing Byzantine mosaics. Be sure to go to Sant' Apollinare Nuovo to get your tickets to the various sites--two require a timed entry, so have your day planned. All of the mosaics are wonderful and well worth seeing, but our favorites were the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia behind the Basilica, and Cappella di Sant'Andrea inside the Archiepiscopal Museum. Dante's Tomb was neat, as were the mosaics under water at the Basilica di San Francesco. And off the main tourist trail is the little Arian Baptistry. . . heck, you gotta see 'em all!
To get the most out of seeing these treasures, read up on the Arian Heresy and the conflict between the Goths/Arians and the Justinian Christians. Different hidden symbols everywhere. There's a short summary in the Rick Steve's tour guides that's helpful.
And when you're tired of mosaics, stop at the covered market for some amazing food. It would be a great "half-way" point for lunch (wish we'd known).

Great little city with virtually everything within walking distance. The late antique basilicas and their mosaics are truly astonishing and there is a great selection of bars, cafes and restaurants as well. Go to Profumo di Piadina for a great lunchtime snack! Museums are also good, especially the Mosaic Museum Tamo and the Classe Museum, presenting Ravenna's astounding history in an impressive and engrossing manner, one of their best I've visited and only a short t bus ride away.

This is a cute part of Italy with lots of history.
This is a cute part of Italy with lots of history. Would of liked an extra day to see more of it but we were leaving on a cruise from the port. The Mosaic sites were incredible. And the food at the Market Place was amazing. The Plaza was wonderful with lots of shops, restaurants and markets. The people were very friendly but the transportation was horrible. We had to walk from the train station to our accommodation's and it was a 30 min walk. No taxi would help us or barely any around and the ones present were very rude. They really need to work on there local transportation.
The hotel was very clean, there was a lot of choice at breakfast, staff very helpful and kind. price was ok if you compare location and service to other hotels . The best thing apart from this is the location. Right in the centre, can walk to all the sites easily, surrounded by restaurants, cafés and shops. Just a 10minute walk to the train station. And so in my mind makes it the best choice compared to other hotels I looked at on here and saw while staying in Ravenna. Would definitely stay here again.
Central location right around the corner from main square; hotel provided access thru a pedestrian zone and also free parking on the street right outside the front door. The whole place has been recently renovated and was totally clean.
Breakfast was good, service excellent, host allowed us t leave our luggage inside the office area while we toured Ravenna before leaving in the following afternoon. Ravenna is a great walking town, with an extensive pedestrian only zone; Prosperous, well-organized.
the apartment is situated in the historical place exactly in the city center but on the street which is quiet in the evening. A very nice view to the Sant Vitaly cathedral. The beds are comfortable, I would buy such pillows to my own apartment)). Shower is good, no problems with water. Very big dining room with a fire place, don't know if it works, I was much more interested in the AC which was ok))). I recommend. Next visit to Ravenna will check first of all if this apatment will be available.
We loved this hotel! The room was spacious, quiet, spotless, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - some of the best variety and quality we’ve had at a hotel in Italy. And the staff we wonderful! It was my birthday while we were there, and I didn’t mention it, but the staff must have noted it from my passport at check in. On my birthday at breakfast they brought me a cake!! They totally went above and beyond. Would highly recommend this hotel!
Lovely location and the elegance of the breakfast room. The check-in was smooth and the parking, although a bit quirky, worked out well. With two large, unique bedrooms and a shared bath, we were able to have a relaxing time while visiting this amazing town. We were surprised to find that so many who suggest places to go in Italy totally miss Ravenna. It's definitely a destination worth visiting. Good shopping and great restaurants.
The location was super for us and near the train station. Our group rented two triples that were more than adequate for our two night stay in Ravenna. We had free parking and could easily walk to sights and the restaurants. The breakfast was great.
One of our party dropped her phone on the parking lot and the hotel found it and texted and called us to let us know so that we could return and retrieve it! Great service!
the room was HUGE! plus a spacious bathroom and tons of sunlight from a big window. free breakfast was great and staff was delightful, SHOUTOUT TO CHRISTIAN from the front desk who arranged us a shuttle to the cruise port for FREE when he didn't have to. he also helped us with taxis and gave us wine and snacks while we waited, hotel cube is a great place to stay especially if you are cruising out of Ravenna!
Wonderfully quaint courtyard gives a calming effect and a genuine taste of Italy. Cool spacious rooms with air con and internet TV so all languages catered for. Good shower and comfy bed. Fabulous breakfast in the courtyard and the hosts were lovely and very helpful. Only a 5 minute walk from the old town and about a 5 min taxi ride from the station.
We stayed for one night before going in a cruise! Hotel is in a perfect location for restaurants and bars in Ravenna. Staff were attentive to any needs. Lovely areas to sit in the hotel and enjoy a drink! Girl at reception organised taxis for us to go to the port! I would recommend staying here!
Perfect location close to all the sites. The owner was very helpful. He recommended a great restaurant and showed us the closet laundry, which is right across the street. This little bunny greeted us every day out in the garden. If visiting Ravenna, this is the best place to stay!
Great hotel not far from the centre of Ravenna, clean, modern and great value. Just over the road from a great restaurant (Fred Enogastronomia), best hotel breakfast we've had in a long time.
Very nice hotel in a very good location next to the Sant Apollinare in Classe Basilica. Ideal base to visit Ravenna. The staff were amazing. The restaurant was very good.
Easy to find hotel in a good location to access Ravenna. Room was an excellent size for a family of 4, well presented and clean, we really enjoyed our stay.
The rooms weren’t fancy but the bathrooms were up to date and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Italy. The location was exceptionally great!
