Quartara Boutique Hotel, hotel in Panarea

Just a few metres away from the hub of the town of Panarea, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands, Quartara Resort Hotel offers a tranquil location. Enjoy panoramic views over the coast and harbour.

The following lines I addressed to the Cappelli - Family. They show what I loved with the accommodation. My dear owners and members of the “Quartara Family”! As you perhaps know already I have valued your hotel for a long time,!as well as your partner hotel “Cassisi” in Milazzo. You really made my stay on your wonderful island unforgettable. in my view your boutique hotel is the best one you could choose on Panarea at present. Each single member of the staff did her or his very best. That’s exceptional! I admire your style and conception of the building, the interior and the garden. Nowadays such a residence with all the assistance I’ve got in between people could hardly find elsewhere. So I can only advise interested future guests to make the right decision With a warm hug Ulrike-Helena

Hotel Tesoriero, hotel in Panarea

Hotel Tesoriero is placed on the Panarea Island, one of the smallest islands of the Aeolian Archipelago, in a central position, only a few metres from the arrivals docks.

It’s well positioned to the port for arrivals/departures, very good breakfast served by lovely Diana even after breakfast finish time… running late as we’d done the 3-4 hour walk around the entire island. Thankyou to Salvatore at Tesoriero Hotel for offering all we needed… a good clean room, aeolian style… loved it!!

Mmmmm, absolutely stunning little island, too crowded in august, some visitors disrespectful of island throwing rubbish where ever for example, and of staff in hotel and Restos, a lot of entitled people seem to visit here. Visited specifically to visit Stromboli, long and complicated travel and expensive hotel but happy to pay as Stromboli was to be the highlight. Booked boat trip on last night and was let down by boat company with no apology or attempt to fix and no time to rearrange. Avoid NOLEGGIO GOMMONI la Stefano if you want a professional reliable boat service. Horrible customer service

I recommend to visit the Basiluzzo island and to see the "Grotta dell'amore" where the water is crystal clear. I love the small streets in the islands, lots of nice small restaurants and terrace. I recommend also to have an apero at Raya in the port, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view on the Stromboli. We also managed to see few eruptions at night.

Panarea is a beautiful island, tiny and very posh! Three days was plenty of time especially because on the 2 day we took the private boat and we did the tour of the island. Certainly a place to go, but certainly not to a place to get to know people!

We absolutely loved the far end away from the port.

We absolutely loved the far end away from the port. It was peaceful and the beach was perfect with clear blue water and snorkelling and lots of pre-historical sites to visit but the port end was to loud for us it was party loud and late every night, drinks costing from $15/20. The restaurants are delicious but super expensive. The shop keepers pounce on you and follow you around the shop, I hadn't experienced that anywhere else in the islands and Sicily, I love to shop but was talked and followed out of the shops, it felt all about money there.

Panarea is a beautiful island, where everything is very well...

Panarea is a beautiful island, where everything is very well kept and easy to access. Every single house looks beautiful and quaint. However, there is only one sand beach, and it is quite small. Therefore, it is often pretty packed. I think the best way to visit the island is on a cruise: that way you can check the little stores, restaurants and alleyways, but still enjoy a good swim from your boat (and there will be others too!). At night, you can come to the mainland for food and drinks.

The location was perfect for our trip, super close to most restaurants, shops and the port while being a bit more secluded than the main road which was nice. The AC and bathroom/shower worked perfectly which are musts for me. It also had a lot of pretty art; the decor was beautiful and made for some great pictures! The highlight however were the staff, particularly Francesco who is constantly making sure everything is alright with your stay and facilitating anything you may need during your time in Panarea. Would definitely come back here.

Da Francesco in Panarea is the most beautiful place I have stayed. Location of accommodation is ideal and just right opposite the port. The room and service exceeded my expectations. The owner is extremely helpful and very kind indeed. The spacious room was fantastic and had a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The lovely balcony overlooked the sea / garden with super views. Breakfast was super, tasty and homemade cake and jam. Breakfast was also arranged early on my last day as I have to leave for first boat.

This hotel is a short walk from the port and the rooms are set in a beautiful garden. The good breakfast is served in their restaurant a short walk up the street. We also had an excellent dinner in this restaurant. Don't miss sitting by the little port in the evening watching the eruptions from Stromboli. The walk around the island was very strenuous but well worth it. To walk to the sandy beach, which is lovely and not crowded in October, is just over half an hour . Alternatively you could get a taxi there.

We were met at the ferry, bags and bodies golf-carted to the property, located at the end of a quiet path/street. Pleasant room with views across the pool of offshore rocks and an ocean peppered with yachts. Helpful friendly staff served drinks and snacks poolside, a rich and diverse breakfast buffet, excellent cappuccino just right. Panarea is the aeolian island of choice, and we would return to this accommodation.

La Terrazza is such a gem of a hotel in Panarea! We were there in mid May, so it wasn't peak season on the island yet, but the service we received was still excellent - they even collected us from the ferry and took us up the hill in a golf cart, which was a nice break with our bags! The view from our room was divine, and we loved soaking it up over a glass of wine.

Location was perfect and great complimentary pick up from the harbour. Helpful reception staff. Great facilities (eg pool, spa, laundry service) and breathtaking views over Stromboli and the other islands. We were on honeymoon and therefore asked for a bottle of bubbles on arrival, which was also offered by the hotel... ver pleasant surprise!
