Words cannot begin to describe this unique and beautiful property. It is stunning-- an old building but totally refurbished inside. Family owned and managed, they were absolutely amazing hosts-- they could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious and the owner gave us a tour of his wine cellar-- just incredible. The rooms were incredibly spacious,
and some of the rooms in our group had large sitting areas where we could convene as a family. The location is great and an easy walk into town and to other restaurants, etc. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was perfect in every way.
Villa Beccaris has a fantastic hilltop location close to Alba. It features a large park with a swimming pool and sun deck, from which you can admire the beautiful view.

It is a very well located property in a stunning region. We so enjoyed our stay in a large comfortable room with terrific views over the rolling vineyards and the snow covered peaks beyond.
It's a steep walk up the hill back from the restaurant but the views are worth it

Monforte d'Alba was a dream. The town was so sweet and full of incredible restaurants and such nice people. It's pretty steep so wear shoes with good soles if you plan to walk to the top of the town and see the clocktower - which is a must, the view is absolutely worth it! There's a wine shop that has all local Monforte d'Alba wines. I'm still dreaming of the macchiato and brioche con crema normale at the Grappolo d'Oro bar in the piazza. The church was beautiful too!! But really the scenery, fresh air, and countryside stole the show.

A great little town which we used as a base to explore the region. Picturesque traditional village atmosphere with a great restaurant called Felicin which we had dinner at twice as it was that good with amazing views. Also recommend Enoteca Rocca for lunch which was superb.

It is always such a treat staying here, the hotel is unique and very comfortable. Built into the side of a cliff, and made up of four connected medieval buildings, each room is different and connected though a series of hallways and caverns. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor are terrific, and the wine list - and wine cellars - are exceptional, and with an encyclopedia selection from Barolo. Giulio and his team go out of their way to ensure a lovely stay. We are always treated like good friends who have come to visit.
We totally loved this nice and quiet family run agriturismo. Apartment was brand new and spotless clean. Nice balcony with view of the garden and wine yards. The swimming pool were nice and clean with nice sun beds. We loved the quietness and self catering concept, and the fact that it is not allowed to yell or play ball etc. by the pool. Nice and welcoming family who makes excellent Barolo, Nebbiolo and Barbera wines and offers tastings at special price for their guests. Couldn’t be more satisfied. Can’t wait to come back.
Service here is HORRIBLE. NO maid service, no help with check in, no breakfast (even though they say it is offered). the hotel is only accessible by foot and it is impossible to find with google. We waited 3 hours after I called the hotel number to have someone meet us at a parking area and help with bags.on our way out, we were informed 10 minutes before we scheduled help that he was “too busy” and we had to make do. This is a nice property but it is horribly run.
Fabulous location with great views! Property was only a couple years old, so everything was in great shape. It was very comfortable, and a welcome reprieve from hotels. We stayed for 7 nights & cooked dinner 4 nights. Loved, loved the welcome basket stocked with basics, and fridge contained yogurts, juice, milk & waters. Even a chocolate cake for dessert! And the food even got replenished every couple of days! Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice.
Our stay at Mari was more then perfect. She was such a nice host. Here place is absolutely stunning, the interior is very clean and tasty. Here breakfast with her own fruits and vegetables from her green garden, we the cherry on the cake. We loved her dog Tobi and Mari was very helpful. The environment and nature is beautiful, as well as the small villages like Monforte d’Alba and Barolo. I would recommend this place to every one!
The room was very nice, a comfy bed, really nice design in the room. The breakfast was outstanding! The location was amazing and the views were breathtaking. The wine tasting was exceptional and really personal. The family and the staff were really nice and helpful. It’s also very close to Barolo.
We had an amazing stay and we can’t wait until we visit again. We recommend everyone to visit this beautiful vineyard!
Splendid agriturismo in the middle of vineyards, close to nice villages such as Barolo or Monforte d'Alba. Large rooms just refurbished equipped with AC. Very welcoming and smiling hosts that in addition produce great wines, which I truly recommend to taste in their restaurant accompanied with tasteful local dishes.
Amazing holidays for us: we will come back for sure!
This is a great apartment in a fantastic location! Monforte is a beautiful hill town with great services and the apartment could not be more perfectly located. It’s very well furnished and very comfortable for a several day stay. Despite its location in the heart of town it is also very quiet. The best place we’ve stayed in our 3 week trip around Italy!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The grounds are stunning, the pool/the entire hotel has an incredible view of the surrounding area and the rooms are very nice. The staff are so helpful, and accommodated an early check-in/late check-out. They have great Trek mountain bikes you can use for free. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options.
Firstly, I want to be fair to the hotel as it is in a beautiful location and the rooms were decently done. There is a fabulous rooftop and a pool. The beds are comfortable and they stocked the fridge and had a welcome basket when we arrived. The town is lovely and the views from the rooftop are unbeatable.
The hotel was delightful from start to finish, from the warm welcome of the staff, thoughtful touches in the room and common areas, to wonderful views from the terrace and pool area, excellent breakfast and unexpected parting gift. I would come back in a minute.
The food in the restaurant was outstanding. Room had big sunny terrace with views across the vineyard. The front of the property has panoramic views of pretty much the entire Barolo region. Wine tour and tasting done well. Overall a great stay.
