Beach and town very near to rail station.
Beach and town very near to rail station. Lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs, so lots of choice. Great that they all cater for dogs with water bowls left outside for them and are allowed in some places. Beaches are great and plenty of places to sit. You can walk around Tenby quite easily. Seemed a lot cars around. Be great if they could make it pedestrian only in some places. Love the coloured buildings and the little harbour, very quaint.

Love Tenby it was dog friendly and the beaches were amazing very good atmosphere and people very friendly glad I had self catering though because the restaurants were pricey, so we cooked own food in the flat, other than that , it was perfect and we had a lovely time we did have some problems with the TV could not get the sound on but worked it out after, had to use the sound system underneath the TV but we would love to stay there again and thanks from Anne and alan and Milo.

There are a lot of boarded up shops obviously the impact post Covid many businesses have Closed. The railway station from which I embarked was a disgrace no adequate disability access particularly for visual or hearing impairment , if you have to get across the tracks to access the platform for the return trip. no toilet. Generally looks a very unloved station so not a good way to be greeted when you arrive but generally there are still a good range of shops tea rooms and places to eat.

Nice setting, and plenty of good restaurants.
Nice setting, and plenty of good restaurants. Terrible for parking. Seems to be an important money maker for town to issue parking tickets at first break of daylight. Had two parking tickets in 5 days although parking in what looked like free parking. Second time was only for 5 minutes while loading the car, going home.
I loved that the hotel was right by the beach and Tenby center. A really good base. Don't expect luxury but it's a lovely place for a base. Rooms as spacious. Lovely sea views. Really good for the elderly as close to coffee shops, a beach with a slope, restaurants and benches outside. Good selection for continental breakfast due to covid. Really close to a Cornish bakery if you need a coffee or warm roll with your breakfast. We own a hotel and this hotel has a lot of potential to be amazing.
Staff were very friendly from booking in to breakfast and seeing staff around the hotel.
Room was quite basic but had everything we needed for a 2 night break, did have a slight smell in the bathroom.
Breakfast was between 8 -9:30 with a selection of pastries, cereals, fruit & yogurts that you could have alongside a cooked breakfast.
The walls are quite thin so when there was lots of traffic through the corridors it was quite noisy.
Cheap and cheerful and in the centre of Tenby 👍🏻
This is a very good place to stay. You will not be disappointed. The room was beautiful ,bright and clean. The view in our room was exceptional. It's a stones throw from the promenade,a short walk to town, and a short walk to South beach. Tenby is a regular destination for my wife and I,and Lindholme ticks all the right boxes for a return visit in the future. Can't tell you about the breakfasts, didn't book in for them.
We had a lovely stay. The location between Tenby and Saundersfoot was great as you could walk to either town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and gave excellent advice about what we could do in the area. The room and ensuite were modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options available. We would highly recommend Pen Mar.
The hotel, was beautifully kept and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Bar meals were very tasty and good value for money. Bar drinks prices were very reasonable. Pool area nice and the pool was heated. The hotel grounds were well kept. Lovely seating area over looking Tenby and the harbour. Rooms very clean. Tenby was a short walk away.
Great location for exploring Tenby and the surrounding area, and lovely views out of the apartment over the beach.
Well equiped kitchen, with everything we needed for our 4 night stay.
Great check-in instructions, easy private parking.
Would highly recommend, and we would stay again if we come back to this area.
Host was extremely hospitable. Room and bathroom were very spacious. The location is perfect - near city center and the esplanade. Breakfast was delicious. There is a car park a few feet away. Everything was perfect! I would stay here again if my travels include Tenby in the future!
It was a short and stunning walk along the coast to everything in Tenby. There was an even shorter direct walk to the main entrance to the city center but I chose the path along South Beach every time because it was so pretty. The property was beautifully decorated and very modern.
The Giltar is a lovely well presented hotel in a prime location, a few minutes walk to the centre of town and the lovely Tenby beaches. the hotel have comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, who are always helpful and well presented. the breakfasts are excellent and plentiful.
Quite simply, everything. Location of the hotel was perfect. Hosts were very welcoming. The bar downstairs had a great feel about it. The room itself was modern and spacious. We enjoyed our two night stay very much and would 100% book here next time we visit Tenby.
Lovely spa hotel with friendly staff. Ample parking. Ideal location for Saundersfoot and Tenby. Compact but comfortable nicely decorated room, creaky floorboards adding character. Stylish restaurant and amazing food. Took opportunity to book in for a treatment.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful.
hotel facilities, food, drink and entertainment was spot on.
Ideal location for all that tenby has to offer, would definitely book again and a bonus if you have a pet as it's dog friendly.
Fab location. Only a short 15/20min walk into Tenby town. Plenty of parking.
Room was lovely with everything we needed. Decor throughout was lovely and everything was clean. Breakfast was amazing and service was fantastic.
The location is brilliant, not too far from the harbour and the dog friendly south beach in Tenby…..the views from our hotel room were amazing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful considering everything
Easy access to the delightful town of Tenby with parking ( a real bonus) lovely bedroom and the most fabulous hosts imaginable . Great cooked breakfast each morning too, will definitely return.
Far enough out of Tenby to be quiet but close enough to walk in. Spotlessly clean with tea & coffee in the room. Huge bed & very comfortable. Couldn’t fault it.
