Overall the hotel was excellent. I'm struggling with a great review because I selected the wrong room type, thus was disappointed upon arrival. Was still a great stay!

The beds were comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. It is a very central location close to businesses and downtown. Tim Hortons is a half a block away. It has secure underground parking and good security. The bed was very comfortable and there are lots of different lighting options. Very good size bathroom with a large walk in shower (no tub)

It does have an odor sometimes because of the industrial businesses. (Pulp mill). The homeless issue is quite bad as Prince George is a central hub in the province.
There are many restaurants to choose from and (what I consider) a lot of shopping options.

The PG Sandman Signature was horrific.
The PG Sandman Signature was horrific. A hockey team’s bus was left running all night right outside 4 floors of rooms. Noise complaint not addressed. Hot water took 15 minutes to heat to even a luke warm temp. Only 1 elevator in working order. Face cloth in bathroom was blood stained. Toilet seat would not remain up. No breakfast offered or available. Limited parking. Language barrier with staff.

Prince George does not feel like a city to us.
Prince George does not feel like a city to us. Instead it feels like 4/5 separate communities that happen to overlap a bit. This is largely due to the downtown area which has the potential to be quite fabulous feeling abandoned and shabby (with the exception of a few nice places to eat and a lovely coffee shop called Rituals).
The various communities are pretty much like their own mini towns with a mall of some kind in the centre and so have no need to venture out of their area, and there is not enough in downtown currently to make it a destination. Though there are a few must sees like Connaught Park.

The malls were good but web sites for go carts need updating as i wasted time driving out there cause site said they were open when it didnt look like track has been used for long time.and theres no customer service at dennys.and timmies arent great
Our satnav took us a round about way to arrive at the property and it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere so when we arrived to the warmest of welcomes from the owner we were immediatley reassured. The cottage had everything we needed and it was great to meet the horses and dogs (even though I'm allergic to both they were irrestibly friendly!). We also loved the humming bird feeder. A little bit out of Prince George but easy enough to get there and back and such a comfortable place to stay and enjoy the ranch atmosphere.
This was such a pleasant house and location to hang out in that we did little else. Having a whole country home, with fireplace and a good stock of firewood, felt very rustic. The view out onto a creek and fields is very pretty. You're about 50 kilometres south of Prince George, which would be your nearest amenities beyond gas and a convenience store in Hixon (15 km or so further south). We didn't see any wildlife around, but there were plenty of songbirds!
I can't afford to stay in expensive motels so I look for those that are most affordable. I chose this one because it appeared to have a place where I could park our cargo trailer without it being in the way. That said, we thought very highly of the motel and the employee who was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. On future trips where we'll need to stay in Prince George, I will check to see if Fraser Inn is available before I look any further.
I love everything about The Ramada Hotel downtown Prince George. This is My Place to stay now when I go to Prince George. I have stayed ib several hotels in Prince George and The Ramada has definitely Won Me Over! I don't really have any desire to even try a different hotel in Prince George anymore as I am absolutely satisfied and comfortable with the location, the rooms and the service I have experienced at The Ramada By Wyndham Prince George, BC.
Unfortunately, Prince George is not exactly the safest city, but bon voyage Inn has gone above and beyond to ensure that your vehicle and belongings are safe. They have security on staff all night long. My husband had to drive me to the airport at 4 o’clock in the morning, and before he could even start the truck security was there to ensure nothing nefarious was going on. The staff were more than willing to help us,would definitely stay again.
This is our usual go to hotel when in Prince George. It’s reasonable priced and all we need is a bed. The pools are a bonus. The kids liked them when they were small. Now they come as adults. We been coming for 30 years. Probably every 3 months It’s weathered over time. Not as sparkly as newer places.
The room was nice and although the breakfast is not as good as it was when there was an restaurant, it was acceptable.
This is my preferred place to stay in Prince George and the new owners have made some changes that make things better.
I LOVE it here! First time staying here, but not my last. I used to call Prince George home, so when I'm visiting again, this is definitely where I'm headed. The staff were terrific and I really enjoyed the vibe of the place.
The room was absolutely beautiful, loved the shower and the comfy bed and pillows. The restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing. I was able to go to the Casino and ended up winning some money which was a huge bonus!
The Reception staff helped us out finding something online for dinner. If you arrive in Prince George by train then expect everything to be closed (around 8pm the town is dead). It is close to the train station.
Everything!! Our stay at Prince George was made all the more memorable because of our wonderful stay at Coast Prince George Hotel. No complaints at all!! 10/10
