Room was upgraded as the room I booked was a bed and sofa bed and the manager thought it would be more comfortable for us. Close to the heart of Nelson.

We liked the historical aspect. However, we thought the " organic" was being taken a little to seriously. We're all in favors of choices, and didn't like having this view pushed so hard on us almost every where we went in town.

Nelson has great character.
Nelson has great character. Beautiful buildings, excellent restaurants and an amazing setting on. kootenay Lake. The only issue we had was parking was difficult to find but then, it was Valentine’s Day so maybe it’s not always so bad.

Nelson has many well preserved buildings from the mid 1800s

It is beautifully situated and the setting is picturesque. However the town is not pretty with too many ugly buildings of an industrial nature near the shoreline.

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all within a couple of blocks. The river walk to the park and beach was lovely. Even the scenery from the car journey to get to Nelson was fabulous!

Nelson is a great place to get some exercise by just walking everywhere up and down the hills to get a view of the town and surrounding area from Gyro Park, or hike up to Pulpit Rock,
Nelson has a great waterside park with a great beach, kayak rentals etc
The rooms are very nicely decorated; spacious; well laid out, clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were so very comfortable, and the room felt more like an upscale apartment than a hotel suite. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe at this property and the staff was pleasant and prompt to respond to my requests. I look forward to returning to this lovely boutique hotel!
The Hume is a very nice boutique hotel. The place is very charming with a real feel of history. The restaurant was great and Mike's place was amazing. There are a lot of great places to eat within an easy walk and some after hours entertainment on the weekends at the Royal. If you like a Speak Easy, be sure to find the door with the red light in the alleyway behind the hotel!
My stay at this hotel was fantastic. Rooms were exactly what I needed. Simple, functional and clean. The owner was a joy to interact with. Super friendly and personable. She even let my mountain bike sleep safely in the room with me and not out in the cold. I liked being just out of town out of the business of Nelson. It was a perfect base camp for my little getaway.
We’ve stayed here both times we’ve visited Nelson because the rooms are a great size, they’re comfortable, pet friendly and the staff are great.
It’s affordable and easy to get into during the shoulder season, we love this little motel stop during our road trip. It’s also across the bridge from the beautiful park where you can walk your pup.
This is first time I stayed in a contactless hotel. It’s really convenient. The owner is a couple, they take care of the hotel like their baby. They really care about the details and almost have everything you need. I really like the design of the hotel. The suite that I lived in with amazing views. I really enjoyed my vacation there.
Mistiso's Place is a beautiful, comfortable lodging that made us feel at home the moment we opened the door. Everything we needed for our stay was available in the well- equipped, clean apartment. This very unique spot is in the heart of Nelson with free parking in a town with little available parking.
The owners and staff are exceptional and communicating was easy. The location is near downtown. Quiet nights for good nights sleep. Comfortable bed. Cloudside is a very unique property with each room it’s own unique layout. We were very pleased with the amenities provided. I would recommend this hotel.
The room was amazing, definitly stay in the Sycamore room if you can! Super clean and beautilful lighting! The bed was absolutly amazing and comfy!! The bathroom was large and had its own AC. I would stay here again and would defintinly recomend to anyone staying in Nelson!
A very modern and stylish hotel in a great location close to restaurants and shopping in Nelson. The room was large and clean and the beds were comfortable. There was not a lot of noise from other rooms or outside.
Perfect location with views of the lake and access to a beach. Nelson is a short drive away. The suites are comfortable with small kitchens. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been wonderful.
The location is convenient, and the hostel has good kitchen and all the necessary amenities. The staff are great. This hostel is the most affordable place not only in Nelson, but in the whole area.
The hotel room was beautiful clean and modern bed very comfortable. But a bar on the property was very noisy until very late. No coffee in the room and no breakfast
Room was upgraded as the room I booked was a bed and sofa bed and the manager thought it would be more comfortable for us. Close to the heart of Nelson.
