We had a wonderful experience at Casa do Santo for our 2 night stay. Maria was very hospitable, helpful, and knowledgable. The views of the Douro valley are beautiful. The small, quaint village is a quick drive to the Douro river with amazing views of the hillside vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

Offering mountain views, A Tendinha - Guest House is an accommodation located in Peso da Régua, 1.1 km from Douro Museum and 14 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Sono rimasta incredibilmente contenta di questo soggiorno! Non solo tutto è stato perfetto curato nei minimi dettagli ma soggiornare qui è stato come stare a casa coccolati in tutto e per tutto! L'intero staff è stato incredibile, la cena e la colazione fatta con prodotti locali ricchissima e molto gustosa! La terrazza affacciata tra le meravigliose vigne del Douro una location affascinantissima! Torneremo sicuramente per un nuovo soggiorno in uno dei posti più romantici in cui mi sono sentita a casa! Situated within 32 km of Mirandela Medieval Bridge in Alfândega da Fé, Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing features accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
