Situated in Portela in the Fogo region, Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura features a garden. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. Exceptional! Such an amazing place and hosts. Jose and Socorro have been amazing with us all around. Jose built the place himself out of lava rock. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed, you're on a volcano after all. They guided us to the top of the volcano and back, accompanied us around the area and drove us back to Sao Felipe on a sunday, when no collectivos are running. A magic place, super energetic and positive hosts, great cooks and helpful hosts.

Staff was always helpful and super friendly. The organization of guides, collectivo were perfect and the area is breathtaking. Don’t miss watching stars at night!

Pensao Zé Doce is situated in Portela and offers a garden and a bar. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We took room with bathroom and shower. Room was absolutely amazing. José was there for all our needs. He is a man with golden heart for people. He also guided us to Pico. I highly recommend

Pipi's Guest House, featuring a garden, a terrace and a bar, is located in São Filipe, 2.4 km from Sao Filipe Beach. At the bed and breakfast, every unit comes with a wardrobe. I had a wonderful stay at Pipi's. You can really tell the place is loved. The food was wonderful and genorous and the cocktail was delicious. Wifi worked well in my room and everything was clean and well organized. They helped arrange a collectivo to the caldiera and made me feel very welcomed as a solo traveler. It's very close to the airport and you can walk there in 7 mins.There is a sign on the left as you leave the parking area about 100 m. The road is basic so keep an eye out for the sign so you don't miss it.

Casa Ze & sonia is situated in Portela. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

EcoFunco is situated in Portela. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe. The best customer service! The host Lea was super helpful before we even got there. She answered all my questions very quickly and provided lots of information. They arranged the shuttle service for us as well as a guide to climb up the volcano. João himself is a guide and you can book him. Obviously the location is perfect and you have a beautiful view of the volcano right from the room. Make sure to eat at Isabella's next door, her food is delicious and she was such a warm and wonderful person. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

Situato a Igreja, il Gira Lua offre un ristorante, un bar, un salone in comune e la connessione WiFi gratuita. Sistemazione con vista sulle montagne e patio. Yulia was an incredible host. We took our time to have a deep conversation with her about life in Fogo. She made us feel like part of her family, she shared with us all Cape Verdean values. She is an incredible cook and an amazing woman who made this journey very special for us. The dinner was massive and extremely delicious, her chicken in tomato sauce and the vegetarian cabbage dish left us speechless. Yulia appears to be a respected member of Mosteiros society and people spoke very well of her, her neighbours gave us fruit for free and were happy to chat with us. If you speak Spanish and you are patient enough, Mosteiros and Yulia can offer you an unforgettable experience.

Situato a São Filipe, il Tortuga B&B offre la vista sul giardino, un ristorante, una reception aperta 24 ore su 24, un bar, un giardino e una terrazza. Il WiFi è gratuito. Che dire di Tortuga? È esattamente come nelle foto: un'oasi di tranquillità, al bordo di una spiaggia nera impressionante e un po' mistica. La notte si viene cullati dal rumore delle onde e di giorno trovi il fresco del pergolato e delle piante nelle quali Tortuga è avvolta. Il ristorante è anche eccellente: mai un piatto uguale all'altro e con dedizione ti spiegano che pesce stai mangiando. Sono arrivato durante il passaggio di consegne tra il precedente proprietario (Roberto) e il nuovo (John). Roberto è stato fantastico, molto disponibile e di piacevole compagnia . John è anche una persona squisita, di rara gentilezza. Auguro a John tutto il meglio per la ripresa dell'attività e a Roberto un buon rientro e in bocca al lupo con i progetti futuri. Inoltre, ci tengo a felicitare Valdir, il giovane che aiuterà John nella gestione di Tortuga. Sempre con il sorriso e disponibile, sta imparando al meglio tutti i "segreti" di Roberto.

Boasting a bar and views of sea, Cruzeiro Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in São Filipe, a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach. The property features city and quiet street views. Having a room towards the sea... just great. Sunset on the balcony. View towards Brava island. Breakfast on the top terrace... nice, but rather simple (well, fresh Papaya were super!). Nice people at the reception... no word in english... but we understood each other perfectly ! Reservation and payment without any problems. They sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up.
