The lovely family taking care of the house, warm welcome, simple and very spacy rooms, cleanness, very well placed 5mins of walk from the main square, calm place and on the top of that, there is a wonderfull rooftop where you can chill, watch a sunset and the sky full of stars. It’s location is insane. You’re on the edge of a jungle, with wildlife teaming around you, it is incredibly beautiful. There are wonderful sounds of birds and bugs all day and night, magnificent stars, and such a peaceful energy. Dominic, the person running the show, is truly one of kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever met. And the breakfast served by fellow staff was amazing! The people alone were definite highlights!

The house is built and decorated to perfection and would make an awesome fit for the Netflix series "the world's most amazing vacation rentals". The architecture combines inside and outside with an outdoor kitchen and various seating areas. Enjoy the hummingbirds, tukans and the beautiful jungle around you. You have a private riverside seating area as well with the option to swim. Two cute dogs will welcome you in the morning and when you return from a tour or dinner. Ant it comes with lots of extras: strong wifi, washing machine and dryer, super comfy towels, a hammock, many kitchen devices. The owner is friendly and quick in responding, there is the option to book tours, and Albert, the caretaker of the house, is very friendly and helpful. If you are in this region and the cabine is available, book it!

Offering a garden and garden view, Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water is situated in San Ignacio, 6.1 km from Cahal Pech and 21 km from El Pilar. The property was an absolute dream!!! We stayed at Casa Sophia and bird watched while drinking coffee in the glorious open kitchen/living room space. The house and Hadas’s design touch are boho Belize!!! Loved it all!!

The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

Situato a 1,5 km di Cahal Pech e a 17 km dalla Barton Creek Cave, l'Hummingbird Rest è una cabana completamente attrezzata con giardino, WiFi gratuito e giardino. Hummingbirds on your patio are a great way to wake up and go to sleep. The locations close to town but not too close. We had a rental car and felt the vehicle was safe from both other traffic and people. There are multiple places for food or if you want to cook the cabins have a full cooking setup. Excellent! Also check out the grounds and admire all the hard work put into creating this hummingbird haven.
