I loved our stay here, the small house was amazing and everything was super clean. The garden is spectacular just like in the photos. I booked with halfpension and both the Japanese breakfast and dinner (hotpot and BBQ) were delicious. The location is far from the center of Osaka, but we came for Mt. Koya which is easy to reach from the hotel with a paid shuttle service that was pretty cheap! There is also a free timed shuttle service to Izumi-chuo station though. I'd stay here if you want to relax, bike or hike!

The nearest airport is Kansai International Airport, 16 km from the property. Amazing place!!! One of the best hotels I ever stayed in in my life!! The vibe, attitude, traditions and cuisine absolutely fantastic!!! I will recommend it to anyone!!!

The open-air hot-spring bath at Fudoguchikan is available 24 hours, and separate per gender. The ryokan also houses a lounge, a shop and drinks vending machines. A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. Fudoguchikan was the highlight of our Japan Holiday. We stayed here the final night before leaving from Osaka as it is quite close to the airport (though feels worlds away!) We loved experiencing traditional Japanese accommodation and hospitality. The baths were spectacular- looking out over the river and cherry blossoms. We did a walk in the woods nearby (so beautiful) - it was lovely to experience parts of Japan away from the hustle of the big cities. The service was outstanding - really can’t fault our stay here!

Large rooms with very comfy futons, it has a lovely traditional feel. I love how close it is to the shops and markets yet it is tucked away where it is nice and quiet. Will remember Hotel Yu-Shu the next time we visit!

The Osaka Station is a 25-minute train ride away. Namba Station is a 10-minute train ride away. walking distance to two stations, lots of food places nearby that we enjoyed eating at. near Dotombori, about 20min transport.
