Located 1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and less than 1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property was perfect for our 3 days in Kyoto. The size of the room was great and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were stocked with everything you might need. The cypress tub onset was wonderful after a day of walking. The staff were incredibly kind, understanding and accommodating. We love this place!

Offering a garden and garden view, 高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- is set in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park and 48 km from Subaru Hall. Amazing place to stay. The morning prayer was definitely a highlight. Loved all of it. The temple is beautiful, with amazing gardens. The room was also very nice, spacious and well equipped. Staff was very kind. Dinner was served in a private dining room, the food was very nice (but if you cant eat Japanese food definitely bring something to eat as you cant buy anything at the temple). The onsen was modern and clean, men and women are separated. Thank you very much, would definitely recommend!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Cannot recommend Gion Kyoka enough. Actually, I'd prefer to give a negative review to prevent everyone from booking this lovely ryokan in the most amazing location in Gion Kyoto. Their team went above and beyond to make arrangements for our party at temples like Saiho-ji. Thank you Miyata-san and the rest of your staff for making our stay exceptional. I hope to visit again soon.

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel is run by a very friendly lady who tried to help in every way, the breakfast was very delicious and served ryokan-style. The room was super spacious. Amazing offer.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. Provides accommodation located 600 metres from the centre of Kyoto and offers an open-air bath and a shared lounge. The breakfast was great and authentic. Definitely just enough and not too much food.

Located within less than 1 km of Gion Shijo Station and a 15-minute walk of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Ishibekoji Muan provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kyoto. The receptionist who welcomed us was Rachel. She was very helpful and nice.
