Great location a few steps from the beach and a short cab, bus, or train from other interesting sights on the Island.

Nice walk to Port St Mary, Viking burial sites etc. very atmospheric pub and restaurant. Last but not least, wonderful owner and staff.

Set in Laxey, 200 metres from Laxey Beach, Shore Hotel Laxey offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The breakfast was very good. the technology in the hotel is so over the top. We do not need a toilet seat that lifts up when you enter the bathroom. There were reading lights on both sides of the bed but a switch on only one side which made it difficult for one person to read later than the other but not be able to switch the light off without getting out of bed and walking to the other side and then walking back in the dark.. We could not understand the TV as it was far too complicated

Very good location overlooking Douglas Bay. Being out of tourist season, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was complimentary, and there is a nice room with a view outside onto the bay. It was great as a solo traveler like me. If I return to the Isle of Man, I would stay again.

Located on the Douglas Promenade, the Regency Hotel is situated 15 minutes' walk from Douglas town centre. Many guest rooms come with panoramic views across the bay. Our suite was wonderful, extremely clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast was probably the best which we have had world wide, including 5 star hotels - and served with a smile. We will be back in the Spring and will definitely be booking at The Regency. A final note - due to family illness back in England, we had to cut our visit short by one day, and the staff were very supportive and helpful in this.
