Manager, ‘Amad’ (I think is her name) was EXTREMELY helpful in helping arrange transportation in Paris!!! And overall service was incredible! (And I know well the hospitality industry.)

Situated in Guéron, 4.7 km from Cathedrale Notre Dame de Bayeux, Château Saint Gilles features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Its less a hotel than a couples retreat, in the best way possible. Huge rooms with great facilities, white tablecloth restaurant downstairs. Massive grounds to wander around. In the evenings we availed ourselves of the sauna facilities followed by a spa (onsite shower first though). Its all outside surrounded by nature and quite private. Its not just quiet, its peaceful. The staff are engaging, friendly, spoke great English (making up for our poor French). Remarkbly good value. We felt very special , what a great way to finish up our 3 weeks in France.

Exceptionally spacious room with huge armoire and chest, table and sofa. Lovely view from both sides onto entrance drive and gardens and at back the lawns and orchard. Very special ambience. Very good breakfast and the manager gave us a deal as we don’t eat a large breakfast. Good restaurant recommendations. We tried 3 of them going back to each as they were so good.
