The buildings have been fully restored and used to be a huge farm with a cheese production. Some works and finetuning is still ongoing, the new owners opened just a month ago.(05/2023) The breakfast was very good and rich with local food. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Hotel la piscine has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Villers-sur-Mer. During our long first week-end trip with our 1,5 year toddler in a hotel, we were lucky to stay in a place where everybody feels welcome and can feel comfortable. The entire place was spotless clean so our little one could walk around without any issue. During 4 days we met great people, young and older couples, families. The owners and staff went above and beyond to help. This place is super inclusive and chill. We didn't use the pool but it looked perfect and the water was not cold at all ! There was also a sauna and petanque field. Games and books were available downstairs. All the time there was some good music playing on the terrace. We had dinner every night downstairs while our toddler was sleeping: tapas, amazing paella, tapas and planche, barbecue. And a new barman makes the most amazing, large and loaded cocktails. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment is well organised. The little kitchen came in handy. Everything was no nonsense but super comfortable into the details. This place is a hidden gem! Oma auto suositeltava, busseja rannoille ei pahemmin kulje. Itse kaupungissa pääsee kävellen kaikkialle.

Alkaen SAR 450 per yö
Hotelli oli automatkailijan kannalta loistavalla paikalla. Suoraan hotellin edessä on edullinen parkkihalli (5-7€ per yö) ja muutenkin hotelli hyvällä paikalla Caenin nähtävyyksiä ajatellen. Hotellin siisteys ja huone ylittivät odotuksemme. Ranskalainen parveke oli plussaa. Caen toimi majapaikkanamme Normandian maihinnousupaikkoihin tutustumisellemme. Matkaa Omaha-beachille oli autolla noin puoli tuntia.

Hotelli oli todella siisti ja sijainti meille sopiva. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, kun saimme tuoretta patonkia / croisantteja yms. herkkuja kahvin kera. Henkilökunnalle arvosanaksi 10++! Loistavaa palvelua sekä omistajan pitämä opasretki Normandian rannikolle oli upea: huolella ja asiantuntevasti suunniteltu. Kiertoajelu läpi pienten kylien oli mahtava lisä opasretkelle! Vahva suositus hotellista!

We loved our ocean facing room. Our second room was okay but across the building and down the hall. I was hoping to be closer to our second room (our kids are 8 and 13). We had to get 2 rooms because they didn’t have quads available. For Europe, the rooms were a good size. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony off each room (please note they are lovely, but you can’t fit a chair on them like many balconies in Europe). Coffee was good and location is awesome. On the beach (you have to cross one road and you’re on the boardwalk). Every restaurant and cafe is walking s Distance and the Bac is just steps away. Beds were very comfortable. The older, stylish lady was lovely at every interaction at reception. She was very happy and helpful.

Very unique castle with completely different rooms in it… giving you the inner sense of connection with the site around not form the perspective of hotel… but mostly as of you are an expected guest of some nice family… very cozy.. and especially me and my son we like the Michelin dinners there ….

The hospitality of the friendly reception is so memorable. The comfortable and warm interior is impressive and it is a good place to relax quietly. When you see the wonderful scenery there, you feel relaxed and come to rest properly. I will definitely visit this hotel again. If you visit this hotel, make sure you have a horse riding experience.

We loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always on hand if you needed anything. The pool area was perfect. Children are only allowed in at certain times so great if you were without children. But if you do have children like us, they loved the pool! The room was spacious with a separate twin room within the room perfect for our small family. We will be back the next time we’re in Honfleur.
