Clean, tidy, charming. In a lovely quiet traditional small village. Host was excellent. Food (menu de jour) was great. And wine recommendations (local champagne and a red) were perfect. Sadly we had to leave early so didn’t get to sample breakfast.

Breakfast was lovely. The area is beautiful although slightly remote if you don't have your own transport. The owner was very helpful securing restaurants for us and nothing was a problem to her. Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, 20 km north of Beaune, Douce Nuits offers accommodation a few kilometers from Cotes de Nuits vineyards. this bed and breakfast was perfect for us. Greta location and the apartment was clean and bright. we could walk to the shops and dinning and had a wonderful dinner at le Grill. the owner Marie was lovely and helpful. I would come back and stay again.

It was an interesting experience to stay in chateau, which I would recommend to anyone visiting Burgundy. Room was great, with cozy bed and all the antique furniture and the view from the room over the wine yards is amazing. Hotel is managed by a Dutch couple which is very friendly and supporting.
