Super helpful owner who helped us with all our questions and even gave us tips on the rest of our trip in Costa Rica! Breakfast was simply, but very delicious and on par with other similar hotel / BnB breakfasts we had in Costa Rica (if not even better).

However, if you are looking for luxury and resort like activities, this is not the place for you, but for people that are looking for a place to be in peace and comfortable this is it.

Situated in Sámara, 1 km from Samara Beach, Tuki Tuki Lodge offers accommodation with a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and room service for guests. We loved our stay at Tuki Tuki. It’s a small resort located walkable to the beach. The staff is sooo friendly and really treat you like family. We LOVED our stay at Tuki Tuki and wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms were super clean and spacious! JP the owner/host goes above and beyond to make your stay incredible. Hazel the cook/ cleaning lady makes delicious breakfasts and does an amazing job keeping the place clean. We loved the small resort atmosphere and meeting the other guests. It truly felt like coming home to friends at the end of each day.

I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.
