I booked this place last minute, and it exceeded my expectations. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Loved the bath, and was able to prepare a simple meal in the kitchenette. Issie at reception is LOVELY. Kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was exhausted when I arrived, so greatly appreciated her kindness!

Best Motel we had in NZ. Very nice people, beautiful big room with a stunning view. Perfectly equipped and all perfectly clean and very modern. Akaroa is a must have when traveling NZ and the Motel is centrally located. We‘ll come back.

Warm service, clean and comfortable room, really happy to stay here that we love all including easy park, wonderful tracks around lake wanaka & lake hawea. Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Really loved this old school motel, comfortable beds and ideal hosts. In the morning surprised with a kid’s playground (see pic). One can park directly in front of the entrance of the apt.
