From the beautifully appointed room with stunning view, super comfortable bed, great and spacious bathroom to the amazing 5 star delicious food and again amazing views from the dining room and outdoor deck, we were so pleased to have chosen this particular reserve. Then the staff, they were so friendly, approachable and in particular our Ranger Sbu was so knowledgable and he knew exactly where to find so many animals. We realised how lucky we were that within 24 hrs we'd seen 3 (elephants, lions and buffalo) out of the big 5, plus additional animals such as jackal, ostrich, wart hog, zebra, buck, impala, kudu, giraffe!

The views from Silverstreams Lodge and Cottages are breathtaking. This is a little slice of heaven with all the creature comforts you could wish for. Beautiful layout. The Lodge is really spacious and has all the luxury touches, The cottages, though smaller, have equally stunning views, thoughtful layout for comfort and leisure. Great wifi connection and DSTV for those who want it. We also had the most incredible, delicious breakfast buffet. But really it is all about the quiet, majestic beauty of the gorge. Truly spoiled.

Offering a furnished deck, each of the free-standing suites at Lions Valley Lodge has a bedroom with a walk-in cupboard and a spacious lounge area. The open-plan bathrooms feature 2 baths, an indoor and an outdoor shower. My friend and I loved everything about the this lodge, especially the food. All meals were glorious and very delicious with very generous portions! Kudos to the chefs! We enjoyed everything that we had. The staff members were absolutely friendly, always willing to assist, a pleasure to be with and they made our stay wholesome and comfortable! Stay shining team ❤️ All rooms were clean and fresh. Well done to the cleaners and maintenance team. The game drives were very fun and very informative/educational. They were fantastic! We had a short break in between our drive, in the bushes with drinks and snacks (the ranger usually stopped at the safest place with beautiful views). Stefan was our ranger/guid and he was incredible. He loves his job and he's very knowledgeable about the environment and animals. He shared a lot of interesting facts about the different types of animals that we saw. We saw lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes, kudus (just to name a few) and many more as well as the different kinds of birds. This place has really made me appreciate nature more.

The swimming pool is often visited by elephants, and guests can enjoy game drives and walking safaris. All staff were super welcoming and pleasant. They really do strive to go above and beyond for their guests. The suite was lovely, always clean and great special touches that can only be experienced in person. The meals were exceptional, we never grew hungry during our stay. Our ranger was knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. The game drives were magical. Management was always there to lend a helping hand.

Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room is situated on a gravel road, 5 km from the vilage of Underberg. The estate offers nature trails, riverside pools, picnic spots, decks and viewing areas.

The self-catering One-Bedroom Cottage offer a fully equipped kitchenette while the Deluxe Room is fitted with a microwave and fridge. Both units have a private bathroom and a garden veranda. Lots of information provided before arrival and then when we got there.

This property features a garden and a pool. great individual accommodation where everything has been thought of. Fire lit in the room on cold nights with bed turned down and electric blanket on. I felt so spoilt view of dam with the resident hippo absolute luxury
