Great hotel, very kind and engaging staff, some of the best food we had in South Africa, beautiful views over the bay and the sand dunes and a lovely little game drive with the chance to see giraffes, many kind of antelope and much more. Amazing luxury ,picnic’ lunch right down by the ocean. Brilliant way to unwind and relax before travelling home.

A really beautiful reserve with a lot of game. We stayed at Eagle nest with a truly stunning view and was amazed at the number of different bird species we saw from the balcony. Looking out the kitchen window we aw wildebeest, impala & zebra. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and it was the little extra's that made the difference like tea, coffee and rusks. What struck me the most was how friendly and accommodating the staff were! We took a lovely long hike, relaxed down by the river and in hindsight wish we had canoed - all available from the office. When down by the river, I was wondering what type of tree I was looking at and discussing it with my sister when the nearby gardener piped up with the identification - such a lovely friendly knowledgeable guy. I will definitely return and next time stay for longer.
