The best spot to take an outstanding photo is to go to the Island on the other side of the river at the sunset time and from there it is perfect to take a photo of the bridge and the City of the Popes.

If you're at the Palais du Pope already then it's worth the 15 minute walk to go see it. But it is at its heart just a bridge. I did not use the audio guide, I'm sure there's an interesting story to it. The river views are nice.AAnonymousUnited States - 10Scored 10

Don't miss the fantastic opportunity to be near the water - we were not prepared for that. Wish we would have planned longer time to spend at Pont du Gard area and relaxed down on the sand bar in the water with a picnic. I found the museum difficult to follow, but it had great information and was a little bit interactive. However, we were there at closing time - so not sure if they were shutting down lights etc while we were there - or if it is always that dark.

Very comfortable bed, good shower and everything I needed in it. Easy to get to places of interest such as the Palace du Pope’s and the Pont D’Avignon. Excellent bus service to th TGV train station and the stop was only a few minutes from the building. Very charming area with many restaurants and shops . There was a book with very useful information in it, inside the room
