We loved that the room was really big, light and spacious. The table and chairs were very useful for organising our belongings and there was loads of wardrobe space and hooks for jackets and bags. The views of the valley and Watzmann were incredible. It was also great to have a really big cold fridge downstairs for guest use. Wish everywhere had this to keep water and packed lunches for hikes cold. We planned our Alpine Route journey in a hurry and hadn't even realised that the famous picturesque St Sebastian Church was next door to the accommodation. We also loved the spa garden, saline inhalation shed and Kneipp water treading pool nearby. The food at the restaurant was so good- would highly recommend the Majes with potato salad it was huge and very tasty. The breakfast was also great, delicious meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, rolls, butter, jam and you could help yourself to tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers which I love having with breakfast. Would definitely come back to stay here on our next visit to the Alps.

Our two bedroom apartment was spacious. The food was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. We really like that we have a coffee carafe on our table so we don’t need to trouble the lady for refills. The breakfast buffet was impressive. But the grilled beef for dinner is over cooked and hard to chew. Other cooked meat also taste not so good. The staffs at the restaurant are very nice. Free parking.

Both breakfast and dinner exceeded my expectations. It is well worth staying here to enjoy the natural environment and swimming pool. This should be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived after a long hike right before the restaurant was to be closed and the staff made sure we were able to have dinner.
