Arona is a historic and beautiful town in Piedmont, overlooking Lake Maggiore, in the Borromeo Lands, opposite the castle of Angera. By boat, in just a few minutes you can reach the Borromean Islands with their breathtaking beauty, or you may decide to visit other magnificent towns both on the Piedmont and Lombard shore, such as Laveno, Angera, Leggiuno and its Santa Caterina del Sasso monastery. If you wish to discover the area, nearby there are possible excursions by bicycle, on foot, horseback riding in the woods or attending the most beautiful golf courses in the Terre Borromee. Wine lovers can consider themselves ready for magnificent wine and cheese tasting experiences.
