Very pleasant easygoing yoga sessions were offered without extra cost both in the morning and the evening. After wandering the whole day on the beautiful coasts of Öland, we were invited to relax in the yoga room, mildly washed over by the sound waves of huge gongs. This is really the place to relax! The owners were kind and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Best family friendly hostel I've stayed at. It's an old school, our bedroom was half a classroom -- great play facilities and gymnasium and very spacious kitchen and common areas. The association that runs it really care about their community and keeping the building alive and take a lot of pride in creating a great experience. A very lovely place to stay and well located for Astrid Lingrens world. Don't miss visiting the nearby church, a fantastic piece of architecture!

Located in Åsens By cultural reserve, this hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation set in 3 different buildings. The surrounding village dates back to the 1900s. WiFi and parking are free. The check-in was easy with the instructions I received. The hosts were very helpful on the phone. The location is beautiful old farm area with several buildings. The cottage was warm, and clean. It was easy to find it with their instructions - not with Google Maps. Will definitely stay again on my way through Sweden. There were clear instructions for how to clean the cottage before leaving.

STF Södra Ljunga is located in a beautiful old vicarage from the 1800s, 7 km from Bräkentorp beach. It offers a museum and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Ljungby town centre is 16 km away. Very clean place. Something remind me Bullerby childrensbook 🙂

Situated in Långasjö village centre, this hostel is housed in a 19th-century stable. It offers free WiFi, free parking and rooms and cottages with private or shared bathroom facilities. The forest setting with the lake was wonderful. The accommodation was simple but all we needed. The cooking facilities were excellent with many essentials supplied. The breakfast was good. Best of all were the charming German ladies who run this business. Nothing for them was too much trouble. Our stay was a real pleasure and not expensive.
