Out of the Blue has a perfect location so you can easily reach every point of the island. It's far away from the noise and only 3 minutes walk from downtown. Out Of the Blue is such a nice hostel. The breakfast is different every day and it's generally beautifully looking and tasty. People from the staff are helpful and the bar has a happy hour and they serve amazing food. There are plenty of bathrooms and they are supplied with everything you need. The beds are done daily and they are really comfortable They organize group Tours and that's a nice way to get a view of the island and meet fellow travelers. The check-in was very practical and easy. The room really amazed us: beautifully decorated, very clean and modern. We loved the welcome gifts. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the big shower. The hostel downstairs living room with kitchen and the patio created the perfect environment to hang out with other guests and to share some nice moments. The kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast was very good. The Santa Alegria Hostel team was always available, they were very kind and helpful and made our vacation in S. Miguel Island even more perfect. Thank you Inês and Candido, you made us feel like home and we hope to visit you again!

At the accommodation every room is equipped with bed linen and towels. Awesome place to stay in Ponta Delgada. It is near the city center and the sea, so you can reach everything by foot. Close to some good restaurants as well. Really comfortable bed. Airconditioning makes the temperature of the room perfect for every weather :)

Not only it's clean, it's spacious, it feels like home, and the owner is adorable (just 3 words: fresh homemade cake every morning!), but everything you always thought "would be nice if..." has already been thought and put there for you. A nice full kitchen? YES. A comfortable shelf and bag where to put your things while in bed (with curtains obviously)? YES. Washing machine and place to hang your clothes? YES. And so much more :)

At Ilha Hostel & Suites the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The Staff was lovely and made us feel right at home. The whole hostel was clean at all times and the room was comfortable, had AC and the beds were closeable with a curtain so that sleep was possible even if other people were still up.

The location was close to many restaurants and the harborfront and a short distance from the airport. The owner, Gonçalo, was a joy - attentive and informative about everything to do and see. Breakfast used local ingredients and our family loved the options. Would recommend to families or those traveling in small groups.
