Everything is new, clean, tidy and modern. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I am also glad to find a female dorm with the bathroom inside the room. They even have an extra toilet so you have 2 toilets for a room of six. It also has a good location, 5 minute walk to the supermarket and bus station. The port is also nearby. I forgot to mention that the hostel has a back yard and wonderful views. One side you can see mount Pico and the other is Sao Jorge island.

Super clean and everything seems newly decorated, this place was decorated with great care. Lockers in the dorm room (bring a padlock or they offer to give you one), views of the mountain and a great kitchen, lounge and garden. Location was central and 2 mins to the port.

Nastanitev Engenho Hostel se nahaja v mestu Lajes do Pico. Vse nastanitvene enote vključujejo satelitsko TV z ravnim zaslonom, hladilnik, aparat za kavo, prho, sušilec za lase in pisalno mizo. Everything was very good. Nice room with comfy beds. Downstairs there is a Kitchen and Livingroom were you can do your cooking or Watch TV etc. Close to everything in town.

This Azorean guest house is a 15-minute walk from the sea and features comfortable accommodation overlooking Faial and the Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Nice, calme place, very strong breakfast!
