Hokkaido: Pesquise hostels

Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated in Lake Toya, in the Toyako Onsen district. With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. I don’t often write reviews but my stay in this hostel just needs one. I stayed here for only one night on my trip trough Hokkaido and it was just amazing. The accommodation is clean and cozy and the beds are soo comfortable. But the best: the hosts. They were so kind and helped me with all my questions. English conversation is also possible! :-) Since it was heavily raining on the morning I left, the offered me a drive to the bus station. Thank you so much, Keiko-san, arigato gosaimasu.

Otaornai Backpacker's Hostel Morinoki is for free and independent travelers in Hokkaido Otaru. No good for small group or family. Spent three wonderful days here, very cozy Japanese traditional house. The staff make me feel warm. What's interesting is that on Chinese New Year's Eve (it's also my birthday) I sat in the restaurant with the hostel boss I guess, I was eating my meal, he was using the computer, and it was quiet around the fire until late at night. He kindly helped me clean up my kitchen waste. I got a sticker at the front desk to put on my suitcase. All are unforgettable memories.

A 10-minute walk from JR Kutchan Train Station, Niseko Backpackers Hostel Tabi-Tsumugi offers simple accommodation with extra-long beds. We had an amazing stay here. Riyo is a great host and went out of his way for us multiple times. Pick ups from the train station and morning shuttles to Mt Hirafu made things so easy. The dorm rooms are the most spacious I have had and they are super private and warm. The common areas are clean and inviting. You feel at home the moment you walk in. The kitchen has everything you need and the effort Riyo puts in for cleanliness doesn't go unnoticed. Highly recommend this place.

Staff is the most friendly we met in Japan, really lovely people! Good location, just a short walking distance from the lake and the visitor center.

Very close to the city center, within walking distance. The room has everything necessary for a comfortable stay: a small refrigerator, shower, toilet, sink, kettle, flashlight, lamps, a pleasant view from the window. The hotel staff is very polite, they told us about the attractions and answered accompanying questions.

Com uma localização conveniente no centro de Sapporo, WISE OWL HOSTELS SAPPORO fornece quartos com ar condicionado, um salão partilhado, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e um bar. O colchão é super confortável, ótima qualidade. A equipe é simplesmente maravilhosa, todo os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. Foi o ponto alto da estadia. Um agradecimento especial ao gerente, Soo, um querido, que está sempre disposto a ajudar, além de estar sempre juntando a galera. Acabei mudando para lá por conta dele, que me deixou escolher uma cama com bastante espaço, tanto para minha privacidade, quanto para guardar as malas. A área de convivência é ótima também, muito boa pra conhecer pessoas, não tão conveniente para trabalhar, por conta do som, mas eu não tive grandes problemas por conta dos meus horários, e em momentos de pico, eu trabalhei da minha cama. Os espaços comuns estavam sempre em ordem, o chuveiro é muito bom.

遊悠館 situa-se em Chitose, a cerca de 35 km de Estação Ferroviária de Shin-Sapporo e 44 km de Estação Ferroviária de Sapporo. Clean and tranquil place. The staff were helpful, considerate,and awesome! A konbini ( convenience store) is located next to it.

Com uma localização conveniente na área de Sapporo City Centre, em Sapporo, HELIO HOSTEL SAPPORO situa-se a 13 km de Estação Ferroviária de Shin-Sapporo, a 20 km de Otarushi Zenibako City Center e a... Modern hostel in a good location. From the minute I entered I got a good impression, staff were extremely friendly and checked me in easily and gave me a thorough explanation of where everything was etc. The room was clean and the bed was very spacious and comfy especially for a hostel bed! Face and body towels were both provided which is always a bonus! The shower room was on a different floor which I thought was strange as you had to walk through the lounge/kitchen area to access them… yet the showers were clean and worked well. Oh and also … there were even straighteners and curlers in the shared washroom outside the showers! The washroom area in our room was very clean and the air freshener in the toilets smelt amazing!

HOTEL BOTH localiza-se em Shari, a 41 km de Abashiri Port, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um restaurante. Super clean and very helpful staff. The restaurant is also great.

Guest House Matsuyoshi encontra-se em Lago Tōya, a 6,7 km de Lago Toya e a 37 km de Estação Ferroviária de Muroran. Everything was perfect for us. However, upon talking to other people who were staying at the same location, we were shocked to find out that there was no air conditioning in their room. This made their stay extremely uncomfortable. We had air conditioning in our room. When I brought it up with management, they said that some rooms have it and some rooms don’t. It is then very important when you book to ask for a room With air conditioning, if that is important to you.
