At the hostel, the rooms come with a patio with a garden view. The rooms are equipped with a coffee machine and a shared bathroom, while some rooms also feature a balcony and some have city views. At Young Backpackers Homestay rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. Amazing beautiful location. Great atmosphere. The host was great, really went out of his way to accomodate us. Since mostly solo backpackers frequent te hostel, there were many great stories to tell and people to meet, but still it was quiet at night. Just the perfect stay in Luzern when travelling alone or with your partner. Great schnapps as well.

Excellent central location for looking around the town and just a short walk from the railway station. Room and bathroom were clean and the bedroom had a useful safe for valuables. We had no issues with noise from other guests, and we were on the first floor (i.e. above the entrance floor) overlooking the street, which was also pretty quiet. There was a laundry room which we didn’t use but other guests clearly found it useful. Not fancy, but perfectly acceptable for a short stay.

The hostel is very close to the main railway station and some supermarkets. The design of the capsule and the dormitory is unique. The capsule is comfortable and its temperature is also good.

The hotel was in a great location. 5min walk from the train station, super close to the lake and to cafés etc. The neighbourhood felt very safe and busy, and the hotel was still isolated enough from the main road so you didn't get to hear any outside noise. The staff was great, super friendly.

Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in.😊 The staff were super friendly and accommodating, everything was very tidy, clean and so well furnished. The kitchen was always spotless with all the utensils you could ask for and the toilet/showering facilities were amazing! A 15-minute walk to the train station meant it was also a great location 😊

Young Backpackers Homestay is by far the best hostel I have stayed in. Sgt Reiner is an absolute legend and a phenomenal host, wonderful location, great craic and spotless clean pretty much a 5 star hotel. 100% staying here again at some point definitely recommended.

Very safe, your capsule is like your room. It is opens only from inside, from outside only with your pin. Very cosy. Hostel is 3 min from old town. Shower is so clean. They give towel also. Very friendly personal. If you stay there, they do for you Lucerne pass. You can enjoy discounts with it and get free pass for bus inside Lucerne line 10.
