Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. I would like to thank the ladies at the reception and in the kitchen, they were very well-intentioned and helpful, everything was very nice. Hope to see you again 👋🏼 🇹🇷🇨🇭

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. I paid for the Hostal version. A room shared with other 16 humans and two bathrooms and two showers shared with 48 other humans. I still managed to shower without queuing. Of course everyone snores and that’s normal. It can’t tolerate that then book a standard hotel room.

The Casa Calina is a newly renovated guest house with a large garden in a quiet location in Carona, with beautiful views over Lake Lugano. Free Wi-Fi is available. The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained.
