The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. For the price per night, breakfast was brilliant. Hot chocolate from the machine one of the best I've had in Europe. Kitchen was fantastic and lots of people using it so a good chance to meet others. Staff on the desk were friendly and helpful and an electronic display with the bus times. Big screen .TV with the conditions for each ski field. Free lockers for use after checking out.

All of the simply-furnished rooms feature bunk beds. There is a shared lounge and fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. The shared bathrooms are accessible via a covered corridor. Firewood is provided for cooking over camp fires by the river. Best campsite/lodge so far! Clean rooms, clean showers although very limited cubicles for toilets and showers. Directly located on the shore of Lake Thun, Youth Hostel Leissigen comes with free Wi-Fi and a private beach with a swim platform. All rooms have wooden floors. The closest train station is a 10-minute walk away. The lake access from the property is so good . Did not expect to be so good . The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the views and the experience.
