Hot chocolate from the machine one of the best I've had in Europe. Kitchen was fantastic and lots of people using it so a good chance to meet others. Staff on the desk were friendly and helpful and an electronic display with the bus times. Big screen .TV with the conditions for each ski field. Free lockers for use after checking out.

Youth Hostel Brienz is located on the banks of Lake Brienz, a scenic 15-minute walk from the Brienz Train Station. The hostel serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, available on the terrace overlooking the lake. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Staff were amazing, it was a very cute family run hostel. Breakfast was beautiful. The scenery around the hostel was stunning.
