Located in Blanquefort, 12 km from Bordeaux, Résidence Otellia is a hostel offering a bar, restaurant, terrace and free Wi-Fi throughout, 15 minutes’ walk from Blanquefort swimming pool.

The rooms all have an en suite shower and toilet, a desk and a TV. Shower gel and towels are available at an extra cost. for an extra large, small towel and shower gel we charge €12.

Good ratio quality/price hotel. The location was ideal for us, because we had our workplace just few hundreds meters from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and really enough. Cheese, meat, bread (baguette), fruits, fruit juices, coffee. The bathroom ist simple but clean.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Although I didn't realise this was a Hostel, it was a unique experience. Parking is street parking rather than private which may be my error in misunderstanding. Breakfast is limited to budget design. Internal bar is not expensive to use and offers basic comfort.

Without a doubt, the best hostel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. Beds exceptional, thick fluffy duvets and bed space is huge with private cabin like space with curtain, power and good pillow for a change. Showers and bathroom in very good, nice bar area, absolutely loved the place and ten minutes walk to train station. Many age groups so young and older and nobody feels out of place. Even had free new washer and dryer in kitchen, wow! Totally impressed with this hostel which I could almost call a hotel with shared room.

Great hostel, almost felt like a hotel at times (apart from the dormitory aspect of course). The rooms were well fitted out with huge lockers, privacy curtains, power sockets and separate toilet and shower. The bar downstairs was good for happy hour and the location is right near a lovely food market which is great if one’s budget allows. The staff also allowed me to stay an extra night in my original bed after my flight got cancelled which was amazing.

Very good location! Everything was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff very friendly. The beds were comfortable, the curtains guaranteed some privacy, and the other guests behaved in a very respectful and quiet way. Nice and clean common space to hang out! I felt very safe as a female solo traveller and would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

Central Hostel in Bordeaux was fantastic! The location was top-notch - buzzing even at midnight, and it felt safe, even for a solo female traveler. Tram stops were nearby and getting here from the airport was a breeze. Bonus points for being close to supermarkets, a pharmacy, and lots of cool places to visit. The receptionist was really friendly, and the facilities were great. But the best part? The comfy beds in the great bedrooms. This is the best hostel I've stayed in Bordeaux.

Look you get what you pay for, this is a budget (cheap) hotel and as a result you cant expect too much. The rooms were clean but basic, pillows are terrible, we bought a few better ones in a local supermarket (we were staying for 5 nights so it was worth it). There was a bad smell in one of the rooms we had but they agreed to move us no problems at all. Breakfast was basic but good also. The kids loved the bunk bed style rooms..
