It was a welcoming environment and I felt comfortable and safe. Everything was clean and the host was incredibly friendly. I have never stayed at a hostel before and I am so glad that I was able to stay at Rainer’s place.

I loved this place, it feels like home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean, the hotel has two kitchens and a nice shared lounge with very beautiful design, there is enough place for everyone to sit and relax. There are many toilets and they are very clean. The room is comfortable and has a balcony, the lockers are inside the room which is good. The hotel has a great location which is very close to Lake Lucerne, and not far from Lucerne station.

Stuff was really friendly. Hostel wasn't too crowded, so my bunk bed in 6-bedroom ended up being a solo room. Everything was very clean.

I originally booked a bed in a 10 people dormitory, but someone was smoking in the room while I just arrived in. I reported to the staff and they changed another room for me. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Plus, although it's not right at the city centre, a bus pass is included in the booking.
