Very well located. Beautiful view of the mountains and hills. Can walk to Grindelwald First and the hike and/or gondola to get up to Pfingstegg. Owners are friendly. They make delicious breakfast and help with suggestions. I would stay again

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

We stopped here as a checkpoint in Engstlenalp for the via alpina, it is located in great position to divide the route between Engelberg and Meiringen. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.
