We speak hardly any German, but one lady in particular couldn’t do enough for us. The restaurant did really good food, very meat based but good. A bit pricey but worth it. There was a bar serving good beer. Location perfect, beautiful views. Lively restaurant at night. Fabulous breakfast! We had a family room, really spacious. Comfortable beds. Nice shower room. Take soap or shower gel. Only hand soap in rooms which I love, reducing single use plastic! Parking at hotel which is good.

Zurich and Lugano are a 1.5-hour drive away. The location was extremely convenient; close enough to Andermatt to do some hiking but more quiet and peaceful. It is directly on the route through the Gothard Pass making a perfect stop.

My friends and I really enjoy our dinners and breakfasts and were impressed by the friendliness of the staffs. The location was also very convenient, it is right next to the train station and the main street but we didn't remember hearing much noise from the outside.

Every morning you can enjoy a rich complimentary breakfast buffet before you set out for a great day on the slopes of Andermatt, which is also a very popular destination for Freeriders (ski season from the end of November until mid-April). Host was great and gave good recommendations!
